Our expertise and vast experience has been deployed over the centuries for dredging, environmental and marine engineering business solutions such as: port construction and improving maritime access worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: QHSE-S Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nAs a QHSE-S Manager you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have overall responsibility of all QHSE-S aspects of our activities and operations in Nigeria.<\/li>\n<li>Are responsible for the implementation, maintaining and continual improvement of company\u2019s IMS (integrated management system) and VMS (vessel management system).<\/li>\n<li>Are responsible for the interfacing with all relevant local HSE authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Are responsible for the follow-up of all security aspects related to company\u2019s activities.<\/li>\n<li>Are responsible for ensuring the effective achievement of QHSE-S department\u2019s objectives and subsequent KPI\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li>Will recruit, plan, motivate and regularly assess QHSE-S staff.<\/li>\n<li>Will manage QHSE-S compliance (legal and client requirements) and implement industry best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Are responsible for the auditing of corporate processes and operational projects.<\/li>\n<li>Are responsible for the management of HSE risk process.<\/li>\n<li>Are responsible for the incident\/accident management.<\/li>\n<li>Are responsible for the management of environmental aspects and impacts.<\/li>\n<li>Are responsible for the implementation of behavior based safety culture.<\/li>\n<li>Are responsible for the set-up and implementation of QHSE-S training program.<\/li>\n<li>Are responsible for\u00a0 the pro-active QHSE-S support during tender process.<\/li>\n<li>Are responsible for the management of QHSE-S process for subcontractor, suppliers and service providers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nAs a QHSE-S Manager you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a minimum of Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Have a minimum of 10 years of QHSE-S experience in an industrial or civil contractor\u2019s environment, preferably within marine, oil and gas or mining activities.<\/li>\n<li>Are equally experienced and competent in the 3 pillars of the QHSE-S process (Health &amp; Safety, Environmental and Quality).<\/li>\n<li>Have proven work experience both on construction projects and on corporate managerial level.<\/li>\n<li>Have strong background in integrated management systems (set-up and implementation).<\/li>\n<li>Have thorough knowledge of relevant standards (ISO 9001 \u2013 ISO 14001 \u2013 OHSAS 18001 \u2013 ISO 31000\u2026).<\/li>\n<li>Have proven auditing experience.<\/li>\n<li>Are an effective and efficient communicator.<\/li>\n<li>Are a dynamic, motivating and goal-driven leader with strong inter-personal\/people management and coaching\/mentoring skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunities to develop your career in a competitive multinational environment.<\/li>\n<li>Working in close cooperation with a team of motivated colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Top quality education and training opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>A competitive salary and stable working environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n<section id=\"listing-fields\"><\/section>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DEME is a global solutions provider in a challenging and rapidly changing world.
