{"id":47327,"date":"2018-01-29T11:28:55","date_gmt":"2018-01-29T10:28:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=47327"},"modified":"2018-01-29T11:28:55","modified_gmt":"2018-01-29T10:28:55","slug":"trifed-nigeria-limited-new-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/trifed-nigeria-limited-new-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"Trifed Nigeria Limited New Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Trifed Nigeria Limited was incorporated in1998 as a spin-off from its parent company, Genesis Worldwide Shipping (GWS), the ship owning\/vessel chartering arm of the corporate group, to offer an integrated, one-stop shop to consumers in the downstream sector of the Nigerian Petroleum marketing industry.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Chemical Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nYour daily activities will be extremely diverse and largely depend on the role and the sector in which you work. In general, tasks include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working closely with process chemists and control engineers to ensure the process plant is set up to provide maximum output levels and efficient running of the production facility<\/li>\n<li>Designing plant and equipment configuration so that they can be readily adapted to suit the product range and the process technologies involved, taking environmental and economic aspects into account<\/li>\n<li>Setting up scale-up and scale-down processes including appropriate changes to equipment design and configuration<\/li>\n<li>Assessing options for plant expansion or reconfiguration by developing and testing process simulation models<\/li>\n<li>Designing, installing and commissioning new production plants, including monitoring developments and troubleshooting<\/li>\n<li>Optimising production by analysing processes and compiling de-bottleneck studies<\/li>\n<li>Applying new technologies<\/li>\n<li>Researching new products from trial through to commercialisation and improving product lines<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that potential safety issues related to the project operator, the environment, the process and the product are considered at all stages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Examples of work activities in specific sectors include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undertaking small and intermediate-scale manufacturing and packaging activities in pharmaceutical product development for clinical trial purposes<\/li>\n<li>Developing new methods of safe nuclear energy production, including projects such as conceptual design, simulation and construction of test rigs, and detailed design and operations support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will need to have studied at Masters level, either completing a four-year MEng in Chemical Engineering or a BEng followed by the relevant Masters:\n<ul>\n<li>Applied Chemistry<\/li>\n<li>Biochemical\/Process Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Biomedical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Chemistry<\/li>\n<li>Environmental Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Nuclear Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Polymer Science\/Technology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>A HND or foundation degree in the Physical or applied Sciences may be accepted.
