Job Title: Food Safety and Quality Systems Manager<\/strong> \nJob Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n

The FSQM, Quality Assurance will assist and support the Quality Assurance Manager.<\/li>\n
The FSQM contributes to guarantee Food Safety of the product through ensuring the proper operation of the FS Systems.<\/li>\n
The FSQM ensures that Quality & Food Safety processes are formalized\u00a0 & compliant with corporate\/regulatory\/customers referential<\/li>\n
The FSQM will support the implementation of Danone Q&FS management system to ensure the improvement of the FS compliance and the development of a quality mindset<\/li>\n
The FSQM ensures FS risks prevention & management on daily basis<\/li>\n
Ensure excellence in execution of\u00a0 Trade quality Audits, Supplier Audits and Internal Audit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Principal Accountabilities (IPE Factors: Impact & Innovation)<\/strong> \nMaintenance of the Food safety management system:<\/p>\n
\n
Update the food safety management system<\/li>\n
Approve the PRP requirements<\/li>\n
Verify the accuracy of the flow diagrams by on-site checking.<\/li>\n
Conduct a hazard analysis to determine which hazards need to be controlled, the degree of control required to ensure food safety, and which combination of control measures is required.<\/li>\n
Plan and implement the processes needed to validate control measures and\/or control measure combinations, and to verify and improve the food safety management system.<\/li>\n
Systematically evaluate the individual results of planned verification<\/li>\n
Analyse the results of verification activities, including the results of the internal audits and external audits.<\/li>\n
Evaluate the food safety management system at planned intervals<\/li>\n
Review the hazard analysis, the established operational PRP(s),and the HACCP plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Trade Quality and Complaints management:<\/p>\n
\n
Reception, analysis, investigation and close out of customer and consumer complaints<\/li>\n
help to identify the defect root cause addressed with proper corrective actions & monitor their implementation<\/li>\n
Conduct Quality Trade Audits of all stakeholders at predefined frequency<\/li>\n
Objective training and education of all stakeholder on product information and handling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Regulatory Affairs:<\/p>\n

Maintain good relationship with all relevant government agencies<\/li>\n
Ensure that all products are registered<\/li>\n
Ensure compliance to all statutory and regulatory requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Supplier management:<\/p>\n
\n
Conduct Supplier Audits of all stakeholders at predefined frequency<\/li>\n
Communicate quality deviations related to R&P delivered to the plant to supplier<\/li>\n
\u00a0Perform Supplier risk assessment<\/li>\n
Supplier development with SSD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Quality Systems management:<\/p>\n

Conduct relevant Necessary training<\/li>\n
Supervise & control of traceability system through regularly conducted exercises<\/li>\n
Manage document management system<\/li>\n
Conduct internal audit at predefined frequency<\/li>\n
FSSC 22 000 certification and daily\u00a0 FS system compliance in the plant<\/li>\n
Consistency\u00a0 between system & daily execution<\/li>\n
Efficient management of documentary\u00a0 system<\/li>\n
Building FS\u00a0 mind-set across all functions & at the shop floor level<\/li>\n
Handle & reduce QA&FS non conformities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Critical Qualifications\/Skills\/Experience (IPE Factor: Knowledge)<\/strong> \nThe Qualified Applicant possesses the following Background:<\/p>\n
\n
HND\/B.Sc in Food Science &\/or Technology, Biochemistry, Biology or other relevant discipline<\/li>\n
Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience in the food industry,\u00a0 3 of which must Quality Assurance management<\/li>\n
Very good knowledge of the applicable quality and food safety standards (ISO, FS 22000, PRP\u2019s, HACCP. GMP etc.) in the food industry and mandated by government regulations.<\/li>\n
Strong Problem solving skills<\/li>\n
Strong Analysis & Risk management skills<\/li>\n
Solid experience in Quality & Food safety Management Systems (Dairy-based recommended)<\/li>\n
Advanced MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel). Data analysis & management, graphs, tables, etc.<\/li>\n
External & internal auditor\u00a0 skills<\/li>\n
Good interpersonal relation & communication skills<\/li>\n
