Fan Milk Nigeria is a well established and fast growing food processing industry offering wide range of products.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Food Safety and Quality Systems Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The FSQM, Quality Assurance will assist and support the Quality Assurance Manager.<\/li>\n<li>The FSQM contributes to guarantee Food Safety of the product through ensuring the proper operation of the FS Systems.<\/li>\n<li>The FSQM ensures that Quality &amp; Food Safety processes are formalized\u00a0 &amp; compliant with corporate\/regulatory\/customers referential<\/li>\n<li>The FSQM will support the implementation of Danone Q&amp;FS management system to ensure the improvement of the FS compliance and the development of a quality mindset<\/li>\n<li>The FSQM ensures FS risks prevention &amp; management on daily basis<\/li>\n<li>Ensure excellence in execution of\u00a0 Trade quality Audits, Supplier Audits and Internal Audit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Accountabilities (IPE Factors: Impact &amp; Innovation)<\/strong><br \/>\nMaintenance of the Food safety management system:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update the food safety management system<\/li>\n<li>Approve the PRP requirements<\/li>\n<li>Verify the accuracy of the flow diagrams by on-site checking.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct a hazard analysis to determine which hazards need to be controlled, the degree of control required to ensure food safety, and which combination of control measures is required.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and implement the processes needed to validate control measures and\/or control measure combinations, and to verify and improve the food safety management system.<\/li>\n<li>Systematically evaluate the individual results of planned verification<\/li>\n<li>Analyse the results of verification activities, including the results of the internal audits and external audits.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate the food safety management system at planned intervals<\/li>\n<li>Review the hazard analysis, the established operational PRP(s),and the HACCP plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Trade Quality and Complaints management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reception, analysis, investigation and close out of customer and consumer complaints<\/li>\n<li>help to identify the defect root cause addressed with proper corrective actions &amp; monitor their implementation<\/li>\n<li>Conduct Quality Trade Audits of all stakeholders at predefined frequency<\/li>\n<li>Objective training and education of all stakeholder on product information and handling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Regulatory Affairs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain good relationship with all relevant government agencies<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all products are registered<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance to all statutory and regulatory requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Supplier management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct Supplier Audits of all stakeholders at predefined frequency<\/li>\n<li>Communicate quality deviations related to R&amp;P delivered to the plant to supplier<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Perform Supplier risk assessment<\/li>\n<li>Supplier development with SSD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Quality Systems management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct relevant Necessary training<\/li>\n<li>Supervise &amp; control of traceability system through regularly conducted exercises<\/li>\n<li>Manage document management system<\/li>\n<li>Conduct internal audit at predefined frequency<\/li>\n<li>Relevant reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Performance Management<\/strong><br \/>\nKey Performance Index:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FSSC 22 000 certification and daily\u00a0 FS system compliance in the plant<\/li>\n<li>Consistency\u00a0 between system &amp; daily execution<\/li>\n<li>Efficient management of documentary\u00a0 system<\/li>\n<li>Building FS\u00a0 mind-set across all functions &amp; at the shop floor level<\/li>\n<li>Handle &amp; reduce QA&amp;FS non conformities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Critical Qualifications\/Skills\/Experience (IPE Factor: Knowledge)<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Qualified Applicant possesses the following Background:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND\/B.Sc in Food Science &amp;\/or Technology, Biochemistry, Biology or other relevant discipline<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience in the food industry,\u00a0 3 of which must Quality Assurance management<\/li>\n<li>Very good knowledge of the applicable quality and food safety standards (ISO, FS 22000, PRP\u2019s, HACCP. GMP etc.) in the food industry and mandated by government regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong Analysis &amp; Risk management skills<\/li>\n<li>Solid experience in Quality &amp; Food safety Management Systems (Dairy-based recommended)<\/li>\n<li>Advanced MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel). Convert\u2019s the sales forecast into detailed plans and schedule for inventory acquisition and stock monitoring drawing information from the company\u2019s global planning system (GPS).<\/li>\n<li>Calculate key inventory performance metrics such as stock covered days and inventory valuation, using these and similar tools to keep the company\u2019s inventory under tight control.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business, with suppliers utilising procurement best practice tools and methods.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with the relevant departments and the suppliers for new product development.<\/li>\n<li>Use data analysis to drive continuous improvement in the purchase of strategic materials and efficient inventory management.<\/li>\n<li>Consistently monitor market trends to stay abreast of the factors impacting on demand and supply, to be able to forecast trends, and implement actions, that positively impacts the company\u2019s position<\/li>\n<li>Issue requests for quotes\/Proposals (RFQ\/RFP).
