Advans SA SICAR was created in 2005 by Horus Development Finance together with several development financial institutions: IFC, FMO, KFW, CDC, EIB, AFD Group. The Advans group has 2.600 employees throughout the world, and almost 320.000 clients.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Recovery Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\nThe\u00a0Recovery Officer\u00a0will be responsible for the efficient\u00a0follow-up and recovery of outstanding repayments, interest and penalties on\u00a0delinquent loans either in form of cash or through seized assets.<br \/>\nMain purpose and objectives of the job:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recovery Management<\/li>\n<li>Asset seizure\/ sales<\/li>\n<li>Manage a portfolio of arrears clients with the purpose to decrease the outstanding amount of overdue loans<\/li>\n<li>Ensure and maintain excellent portfolio quality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"PG-PS12interligne\">Reduce loan restructuring, loan refinancing and loan write-offs of the bank<\/p>\n<p class=\"PG-PS12interligne\"><strong>Essential Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Capacity to communicate efficiently both orally and in writing<\/li>\n<li>A very analytical and tactical mind<\/li>\n<li>Capacity to investigate effectively with clients and guarantors<\/li>\n<li>Capacity to obtain information from external sources.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English and Yoruba<\/li>\n<li>Physically fit.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel around branches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"PG-PS12interligne\"><strong>Other Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"PG-PS12interligne\">A minimum of HND \/ BSC in any discipline.<\/li>\n<li class=\"PG-PS12interligne\">A minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar position of which 2 years must be in a financial institution.<\/li>\n<li class=\"PG-PS12interligne\">A valid drivers license and ability to drive will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li class=\"PG-PS12interligne\">Practical knowledge of micro\/small business and market environment will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/recruit.lafayettemfb.com\/cats\/careers\/index.php?m=careers&amp;p=showJob&amp;ID=66\">Click Here to Apply<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Closing Date<\/strong>: February<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>09, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La Fayette Microfinance Bank Limited will join Cameroon, Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Cambodia and Ivory Coast as member of Advans group network.
