We offer fit-for-purpose solutions that ensure optimum productivity of the people side of business.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Business Unit Lead \u2013 Digital Grid<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Details\/Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nDimension of Function:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>People Management responsibility, Budget planning and forecasting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Strategy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Formulate, influence and implement strategies to improve share in our selected markets<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that a detailed and sustainable sales strategy exists and is implemented into the Business Unit<\/li>\n<li>Derive strategic direction for the business and set suitable goals to achieve this strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Finance:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for strategic business planning and setting of appropriate budgets<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for profit and loss in BU Digital Grid<\/li>\n<li>Maintain forecast integrity and release management reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>People Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for all people management activities, inclusive of mentoring, development and performance management with the aim of creating successful leaders in the organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Resource Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible to ensure that the BU is properly resourced with the right skills to fulfill business requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Operations Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project Management Overview, receiving feedback on the delivery of projects<\/li>\n<li>Identification and defining of risk mitigation strategies by assessing current issues and potential risks and assist in implementing preventative\/corrective measures.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that best practice business processes and procedures are documented and implemented in accordance with Siemens guidelines and policies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Customer Relations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop, maintain and enhance customer relations at required levels.<\/li>\n<li>Sourcing new business opportunities and new customers with the aim of gaining majority market share<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date with local market trends, customer requirements, compare to local requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc\/B.Eng Electrical Engineering.
