In view of its recent strategic direction to broaden its scope of operations, GSSL invites applicants who are interested in joining us in our mission to becoming the undisputed leader in the downstream oil and gas sector of the Nigerian economy.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Quality Control Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Maiduguri, Borno \/ Yola, Adamawa, Lagos, Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducting the required tests on the samples obtained from the wet depot<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring samples from the wet depot and taken to the third party laboratory for analysis<\/li>\n<li>Conducting the required tests on the samples obtained from the Bridgers<\/li>\n<li>Investigating or reporting questionable test results.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring of the pressure reading of the filters<\/li>\n<li>Conducting necessary tests to ensure the integrity of the filter<\/li>\n<li>Issuing out filters when needed<\/li>\n<li>Conducting safety checks monthly on fire extinguishers<\/li>\n<li>Servicing the fire extinguishers biannually<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring bowsers are drained on a daily basis<\/li>\n<li>Conducting of quality checks on bowsers<\/li>\n<li>Preparing release certificate for loaded bowsers<\/li>\n<li>Performing of other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in similar role with at least 1 year experience in a Petroleum laboratory experience<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Applications to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@geometricsynergy.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>careers@geometricsynergy.com<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Note<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants are to state job title as subject of the email<\/li>\n<li>Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>20th February, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Geometrics Synergy Services Limited (GSSL) is an indigenous petroleum products sales and marketing company with offices in Lagos, Abuja, Yola, and Maiduguri.
