We promote family-friendly flexible working opportunities, where operational and security needs allow.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Regional Analyst<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Abuja<br \/>\n<strong>Grade:<\/strong> B3 (L)<br \/>\n<strong>Type of Position:<\/strong> Fixed Term<br \/>\n<strong>Job Category:<\/strong> Other British Government Departments (Partners across Government, including UK Visas)<br \/>\n<strong>Job Subcategory:<\/strong> CSSF (Conflict Stability and Security Fund)<br \/>\n<strong>Start Date:<\/strong> 31st March, 2018.<br \/>\n<strong>Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To collate, analyse and disseminate information and intelligence<\/li>\n<li>Support the National Crime Agency\u2019s regional footprint in West Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Guide Nigerian partners, in relation to intelligence development.<\/li>\n<li>To draft associated documents and undertake to compose thematic logs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-discipline- ability to work alone<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills would be an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Drafting of accurate logs- Will require an excellent English language ability, written and spoken.<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Word\/ Excel- Familiarity with MS software.<\/li>\n<li>Organisational skills- prioritise work and complete the work to tight deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Work on complex issues- analytically link information to reach conclusions<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate ideas- Clearly deliver the results of your analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with I2 Analyst Notebook, Open Source Training.<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of CPIA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Required Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seeing the Big Picture, Collaborating and Partnering, Managing a Quality Service, Delivering at Pace<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Benefits and Conditions of Employment<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Over the period of employment with the NCA, the candidate will receive a suitable level of intelligence training.
