With over 23 years of experience in the field of finance management, tailoring on lease, loans and investment offerings to meet the financial needs of their customers either on a long or short term.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head of Finance and Accounting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Head, Finance &amp; Accounts is responsible for overall financial management, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation of the company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leads the company\u2019s financial accounting, reporting and control activities; ensuring they are carried out efficiently and line with best practice and statutory requirements<\/li>\n<li>To provide accurate and timely financial services including setting monthly budgets, forecasts, cash flow analysis, management and financial accounts and advice support inform decision making at all level.<\/li>\n<li>To manage the annual audit process in conjunction with the appointed external auditors to ensure statutory accounts are produced within the required timelines.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions, minimizing the impact of the variances<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates and ensures regular ALCO Meetings and following up on matters arising from such meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely preparation and rendition of Audited Financial Statements (AFS) and the timely filing of the AFS with the relevant statutory agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for month-end and year-end accounting period close of process and monthly trial balance review to ensure integrity and correctness of the company\u2019s accounting records.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates the preparation and renditions of statutory returns and compliance within the statutory provisions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures Quality Control over financial transactions and financial reporting by ensuring timely trial balance review, preparation of schedules to accounts and bank reconciliation reports<\/li>\n<li>Develops annual operating budgets as well as all project budgets and oversees them.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and comply with Local, State and Federal Government statutory requirements and tax filings.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, laws and best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Professional membership of ICAN, ACCA etc.<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.<\/li>\n<li>B.Sc \/BA Accounting, Finance and related courses.<\/li>\n<li>I.T Proficiency.<\/li>\n<li>M.Sc.\/MBA is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Behavioral Competencies<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An analytical mind with strategic abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to flourish in a fast-paced, complex environment and to adapt to change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n28th February, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/recruit.zohopublic.com\/recruit\/Apply.na?digest=N1nn95I8RLzp6NJvjbTifMVYIf%40BEEZ.LN.DitFNmCg-&amp;embedsource=Embed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Submit your CV and Application Online : Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fadac Resources \u2013 Our client is Nigeria\u2019s leading Non-Banking Financial Intermediary and Equipment Leasing firm focused on niche and general markets.
