The University is commencing operation with two faculties namely; Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences, Faculty of Social and Management Sciences and five (5) Departments.<\/p>\n<p>The Governing Council of the Precious Cornerstone University (PCU), Ibadan, wishes to commence the process of filling the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Job Title:\u00a0Deputy Registrar<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Ibadan, Oyo<strong><br \/>\nThe Position<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Deputy Registrar is to assist the Registrar in matters relating to the Council, Senate, Convocation and Congregation.<\/li>\n<li>In the absence of the Registrar, the Deputy Registrar shall act.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates shall possess a good Honours Degree in Humanities or related disciplines with at least 15 years relevant experience in university administration.<\/li>\n<li>Possession of higher degree and membership of recognized professional bodies will be added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Applicant must have occupied the position of at least Senior Assistant Registrar in a university.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Candidate<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Candidate shall be a person of rounded character and personality with excellent interpersonal relations.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must be able to instill confidence in others and command the loyalty and respect of people.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must fully understand the complexity of a university system and capable of bringing out the best in the subordinates.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must enjoy good health and be ICT compliant.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must be of pleasant disposition, high integrity and strong moral character as to inspire and maintain discipline among staff and students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Conditions of Service<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The appointment shall be for a single term of five years.<\/li>\n<li>Fringe benefits include pension scheme and other entitlements as may, from time to time, be approved by the Governing Council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Deputy Bursar<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Ibadan, Oyo<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Deputy Bursar is to assist the Bursar in matters relating to the finances of the university.<\/li>\n<li>He\/She shall assist the Bursar for the day-to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the university.<\/li>\n<li>In the absence of the Bursar, he\/ she shall act.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants must possess a good honors degree in accounting or related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Possession of a Masters Degree in a relevant discipline. In addition, the candidate must possess at least one of the following; ACA, ACMA, CPA, ACCA, ICAN or ANAN.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must be ready to be an active member of the team that will generate fund for the running of the university.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants should not be older than 60 years as at date of possible assumption of duty.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must also be computer literate and have a working knowledge of good Accounting packages.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants are required to have a minimum of fifteen (15) years post-qualification experience in a university or comparable institution and must be professionally qualified.<\/li>\n<li>In addition, applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years residency at the level of a Chief Accountant or its equivalent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Terms and Condition<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The remuneration and other conditions of service are as applicable to the post of Deputy Bursar as may be determined from time to time by the Governing Council.<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidate shall hold the office for a period of five years. The appointment may however, subject to satisfactory performance, be extended for another one (1) year and no more.<\/li>\n<li>Fringe benefits include a Pension Scheme in consonance with the Contributory Pension Scheme and appropriate allowances as may be approved, from time to time, by the Governing Council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Vice-Chancellor<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Ibadan, Oyo<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Vice-Chancellor Is the Chief Executive Officer of the University responsible for Its day-to-day running.<\/li>\n<li>The Candidate shall be the chairman at all meetings of the University Senate which is the highest academic body of the university.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Candidate for the post of the Vice-Chancellor is required to possess a good University education and should be a proven successful manager of human and material resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Specifically, the candidate shall be expected to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a highly distinguished scholar, with a Ph.D. degree and Professor, normally with a minimum of ten (10) years\u2019 experience on demonstrate ability to provide administrative leadership for established institution;<\/li>\n<li>Be a person of proven integrity;<\/li>\n<li>Be not. more than 65 years as possible assumption of duty; of the national and communities through<\/li>\n<li>Command the respect International academic his\/her track record;<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen bridges between staff, students, and other members of the university community;<\/li>\n<li>Be a person with ,a clear vision for\u2019 the development of the University;<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy excellent physical and mental health;<\/li>\n<li>Attract the much-needed funds into the University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Terms and Condition<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Vice-Chancellor shall hold the office for a single term of five (5) years only on such terms and conditions as may be specified in the letter of appointment.<\/li>\n<li>The remuneration and fringe benefits include pension scheme as may, from time to time, be approved by the Governing Council, furnished accommodation, official vehicle and other benefits applicable to similar positions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.
