Developing the potential within our people. to improve business practices, unleash creativity and enhance industrial productivity.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Hotel General Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The General manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel, to day-to-day staff management and guests.<\/li>\n<li>He \/ She should be an ambassador for the brand and your hotel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the operations functions of the hotel, as per the Organizational chart.<\/li>\n<li>Hold regular briefings and meetings with all head of departments.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full compliance to Hotel operating controls, SOP\u2019s, policies, procedures and service standards.<\/li>\n<li>Lead all key property issues including capital projects, customer service and refurbishment.<\/li>\n<li>Handling complaints, and oversee the service recovery procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel\u2019s annual Operating Budget, Marketing &amp; Sales Plan and Capital Budget.<\/li>\n<li>Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotels and management.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short and long term strategic goals for the property.<\/li>\n<li>Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings.<\/li>\n<li>A strong understanding of P&amp;L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies<\/li>\n<li>Closely monitor the hotels business reports on a daily basis and take decisions accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Food &amp; Beverage, Admin &amp; General, on target and accurate.<\/li>\n<li>Maximizing room yield and hotels \/ resort revenue through innovative sales practices and yield management programs.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare a monthly financial reporting for the owners and stake holders.<\/li>\n<li>Draw up plans and budget (revenues, costs, etc.) for the owners.<\/li>\n<li>Helping in the procurement of operating supplies and equipment, and contracting with third-party vendors for essential equipment\u2019s and services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ideal candidate is a seasoned and highly intelligent hotel professional with outstanding, management skills and extensive hands-on experience.<\/li>\n<li>Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.<\/li>\n<li>Must have at least 10 years experience in the hospitality industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n23rd February, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV&#8217;s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ifeanyi.azu@raldsandagate.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>ifeanyi.azu@raldsandagate.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>:Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ralds &amp; Agate is a Business Management Consulting firm focused on providing People and Process related solutions to businesses, communities and organizations within and outside Africa.
