Our major goal is to empower the society and cater for its co-operators with various service offerings such as online mart (groceries and fresh food), loan disbursement (long and short term), placement\/investments and bakery services.<br \/>\nAre you a hardworking, career-focused and result-driven individual ready for the opportunity of a lifetime?<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Co-operative Business Manager<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement business strategies, plans and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Oversee daily operations of the cooperative<\/li>\n<li>Generate diversified and sustainable revenue base for its stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage business opportunities for the cooperative<\/li>\n<li>Manage loan and investment portfolio of cooperative<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the Financial Secretary to ensure availability of monthly financial reports to stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Online Mart for monthly grocery shopping<\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships with members, partners, vendors and other stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely collection of receivables.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely remittance of payables<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of all customer complaints\/issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting or related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>3- 5 years of relevant work experience in Managing a Cooperative<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of MS Office package<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Financial Management is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must be willing to travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n1st March, 2018.<\/p>\n<section id=\"listing-fields\"><\/section>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV&#8217;s to:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:careers@lk-associatesgroup.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>careers@lk-associatesgroup.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and state clearly the Job Title as the subject of the email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LKA Co-operative is an indigenous and organized cooperative with a reputation for integrity, quality and excellence in its management.
