Apeldoorn ZOA operates in fifteen countries in Africa, Middle East Region and Asia. ZOA works approximately with 1000 employees worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Programme Advisor<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nStarting date: 1st April, 2018<br \/>\nDuration position: 12 months renewable<br \/>\nWork-hours: Full time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your challenge is to ensure quality implementation of ZOAs emergency CaSH assistance and WaSH projects.<\/li>\n<li>Develop the portfolio further towards more sustainable food security approaches and continue to do needs assessment to help maintain the portfolio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Tasks and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be part of the ZOA Nigeria leadership team;<\/li>\n<li>Manage the project design and proposal writing;<\/li>\n<li>Manage needs assessments;<\/li>\n<li>Manage the monitoring of project implementation and ensure the quality;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Manage project evaluations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate level education, preferably masters level;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience in institutional project execution;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience in M&amp;E systems and proposal writing;<\/li>\n<li>Institutional donor proposal requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring, project evaluation and needs assessment methodologies;<\/li>\n<li>Either Food Security or WaSH specialist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent written and spoken English;<\/li>\n<li>Proposal writing;<\/li>\n<li>Data analysis;<\/li>\n<li>Development of people of different cultural background.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Attitude<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passion to serve the poor;<\/li>\n<li>Developing others to realise their potential;<\/li>\n<li>Integrity, honesty, transparency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Special Conditions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maiduguri is subject to restrictions due to the level of security;<\/li>\n<li>This is a non-family duty station;<\/li>\n<li>Rest and recuperation conditions apply for this post.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n19th March, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoa-international.com\/vacancy\/programme-advisor-nigeria\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Submit your CV and Application Online : Click Here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CV\u2019s of no more than 5 pages in length are appreciated.<\/li>\n<li>Qualified women and men, people of all nationalities, and cultural backgrounds, and candidates with disabilities are welcome to apply.<\/li>\n<li>Please provide at least 3 references related to your previous employment listed in the application.
