The airline commenced flight operations on 10 November 2008 and has since its inauguration progressively developed a route network bringing convenience and choice to the flying public.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Station Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Ref No<\/strong>: SM-009\/2018<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Reporting to<\/strong>: Head Of Ground Operations<br \/>\n<strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To Manage and monitor day to day performance of the station in order to ensure quality customer service, accurate and timely execution of all processes and procedures by set standards for quick turnaround and increased market share.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Working relationship:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Station Manager will report to the Head Of Ground Operations and work closely with the Duty Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct and Co-ordinate Airline Station activities at the assigned station.<\/li>\n<li>Review reports on the station activity to determine data needed for planning station operations.<\/li>\n<li>Direct the arrangement of work schedules for optimum deployment of Human resources and facilities<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and audit work processes to ensure adherence to process standards and avoidance of wasted company resources<\/li>\n<li>Manage station budget inclusive of planning and on-going management to drive cost efficiency throughout airport operation<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate guest relations, VIP handling and facilitation.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure passenger safety, security and repatriation of lost but found items<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate knowledge of government regulations, company policies and procedures including but not limited to Dangerous Goods acceptance and handling, proper aircraft loading, flight security procedures, safety\/incident hazard reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and develop station team to ensure outstanding and commendable customer service and quality experience for passengers<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for all flight and ground operations in the station. Must keep all station\u2019s facilities, equipment and activities in compliance with regulatory requirement<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all customer relation matters\/queries are effectively communicated to the Head of Ground Operations and promptly resolved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Possess a minimum of B.Sc OR equivalent qualification<\/li>\n<li>Possess excellent Interpersonal, Communication and Leadership Skills<\/li>\n<li>Be physically and medically fit<\/li>\n<li>Possess a minimum of 5 years working experience as a Station Manager from a Reputable Airline<\/li>\n<li>Be well versed with the Airline Reservation Systems \/ Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations \/ Dangerous Goods Regulation\/Ramp service handling procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their Cover Letter and updated Resume quoting the appropriate \u201cJob Ref No\u201d to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:vacancies@flydanaair.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>vacancies@flydanaair.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>12th March, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dana Airlines Limited operating as Dana Air is a fully private sector-owned carrier.
