The company has deployed state-of-the-art technology that includes 3G services such as High Speed Internet, Video Conference etc. In a bid to expand and maintain this technology, it requires the services of experienced personnel with significant experience in 3G. Globacom Nigeria Limited recruits <strong>3G Access Design Engineer (Ref: 3GADE)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This position attracts internationally competitive remuneration packages.<\/p>\n<p>GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant post graduate degree will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years experience in the Telecom industry with at least 2 years in a 3G Network.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of 3G access network architecture and parameters.<\/li>\n<li>Good working experience in 3G access network planning.<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge and application of relevant IP and 3GPP technical specifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Required Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>RF planning using RF planning tools.<\/li>\n<li>Drive testing and drive test analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coverage and capacity planning using a radio network planning tool.<\/li>\n<li>Logical parameter planning and optimization.<\/li>\n<li>Capacity planning of RNC and transport.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of end-to-end work orders for Node B integration and modification.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordination with implementation and operations teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gloworld.com\/Nigeria\/CareerVacancy\/Details\/587\"><strong>Click here too apply online for this Vacancy<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Globacom Limited is Nigeria\u2019s Second National Operator in GSM, Fixed, Broadband and Gateway with subsidiaries in Republic of Benin and Ghana.
