We enable professionals in the financial and risk, legal, tax and accounting, and media markets to make the decisions that matter most, all powered by the world\u2019s most trusted news organization.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Solution Sales Specialist, Risk<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Req No<\/strong>: JREQ097988<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Function<\/strong>: Sales<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Sales Specialist is responsible for growing the Thomson Reuters Risk business in a defined territory through prospecting for new clients and developing new business opportunities within existing customer accounts.<\/li>\n<li>The Sales Specialist must have domain knowledge of\u00a0 Governance, Risk and Compliance requirements and workflow. (This includes: Operational Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, AML\/KYC Screening and Regulatory Content within the financial markets).<\/li>\n<li>The successful candidate must be able to effectively position and demonstrate the Thomson Reuters solutions in this area and through a consultative sales process, the Sales Specialist is accountable for:<\/li>\n<li>Identifying, attracting, qualifying, proposing Thomson Reuters\u00a0 Risk Solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Driving\/accelerating sales closings to achieve gross sales targets.<\/li>\n<li>Growing market share by closely collaborating with our consulting partners to propose turn-key-solutions<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with the Thomson Reuters Account Management teams to provide specialist knowledge and a clearly defined roadmap to deliver gross sales.<\/li>\n<li>Be the voice of the customer, feeding into the Thomson Reuters Market Development and Proposition teams to inform on market requirements.<\/li>\n<li>This is a quota bearing position that covers a broad customer market segment and assigned territory or coverage area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identifies and generates sales to existing and new customers<\/li>\n<li>Develops new opportunities and creates solutions based on the data and content propositions with regard to the geographical territory<\/li>\n<li>Acts as an advocate for customer needs to the business<\/li>\n<li>Provide Market insight back to Thomson Reuters to help drive and grow our business<\/li>\n<li>Mentor new sales specialists<\/li>\n<li>Converts leads provided by Direct Sales and Account Managers<\/li>\n<li>Assists in key retention situations, bringing domain expertise relevant to that customer \u2013 as agreed with the appropriate stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deep market understanding of\u00a0 a)\u00a0 Operational Risk, Regulatory, Compliance, Internal Audit and Model Risk Governance b) knowledge of relevant market trends and challenges<\/li>\n<li>World class selling skills (identify, develop, &amp; articulate proposition\/ consultative selling) as a \u201chunter\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Strong sales \u2018closer\u2019<\/li>\n<li>Executive Presence<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment<\/li>\n<li>Experience selling to C- level executives<\/li>\n<li>Strong network of industry contacts for assigned customer market segment<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience working in financial services and\/or financial information business<\/li>\n<li>Significant workflow expertise for Risk and Compliance workflows as well as with regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Strong business development, prospecting, and consultative\/solutions-based selling skills<\/li>\n<li>Effective organizational and planning skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>History of sales success in a team selling environment<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills (verbal &amp; written)<\/li>\n<li>Strong communications, interpersonal, and persuasion skills<\/li>\n<li>Emotional resilience<\/li>\n<li>Ability to organize and execute a sales plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills and Experience<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of Thomson Reuters products and services<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in a global matrix organisation<\/li>\n<li>Active member of professional\/industry organizations aligned with particular customer segment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/jobs.thomsonreuters.com\/ShowJob\/Id\/98546\/Solution%20Sales%20Specialist,%20Risk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thomson Reuters provides professionals with the intelligence, technology and human expertise they need to find trusted answers.
