Construction company specialized in the design and implementation of major construction and maintenance projects in the commercial and industrial sectors.<\/p>\n<p>The company is looking for a <strong>Mechanical Engineer<\/strong> for its new construction project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for managing the following mechanical engineering &amp; execution aspects of the project:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Calculation &amp; Design<\/li>\n<li>Tendering &amp; Estimation<\/li>\n<li>Material selection<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of execution &amp; shop drawings<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of work breakdown structure &amp; schedule specific to site activities<\/li>\n<li>Request for quotation and materials submittal<\/li>\n<li>Testing &amp; commissioning of equipments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<li>Prepare BOQ estimates, application designs, engineering calculations, execution drawing and other related documentation for <strong>HVAC, Plumbing &amp; Fire Fighting systems<\/strong> for commercial, residential and institutional building.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that site works are according to project-specific or generic specifications, standards.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and submit test and commissioning procedures<\/li>\n<li>Incorporate the development of logic and elementary (schematic) diagrams<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of sketches and reports associated with project designs or generic design standard<\/li>\n<li>Work in close collaboration with company\u2019s material suppliers and subcontractors<\/li>\n<li>Participate in design reviews<\/li>\n<li>Create and revise shop drawings (assembly specifications)<\/li>\n<li>Develop and supervise the implementation of procedures on site<\/li>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<li>Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education from a well reputed university<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical construction projects<\/li>\n<li>Preferable experience in Design \/ Consultancy firm<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a multicultural environment<\/li>\n<li>Excellent leadership, motivational and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>English &amp;
