Our collaborative approach to residential, commercial and hospitality architecture results in accurate solutions thoughtfully adjusted to their purpose.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Junior Architect<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings by using specialist computer-aided design (cad) applications: autocad, revit, 3dmax studio, sketch up, archicad<\/li>\n<li>Aware of bim is a big plus<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects<\/li>\n<li>Working around constraining factors such as town planning legislation, environmental impact and project budget<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists<\/li>\n<li>Applying for planning permission and advice from governmental new build and legal departments<\/li>\n<li>Writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications and contracts<\/li>\n<li>Specifying the requirements for the project<\/li>\n<li>Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction<\/li>\n<li>Playing a part in project and team management<\/li>\n<li>Travelling regularly to building sites, proposed locations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and oral<\/li>\n<li>High levels of creativity and imagination<\/li>\n<li>A keen interest in the built environment and the dedication to see projects through to their conclusion<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to work long hours, under time and budget pressure<\/li>\n<li>Excellent design and drafting skills and proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD)<\/li>\n<li>A keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to see the bigger picture of a project<\/li>\n<li>Organizational, project management and planning skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks<\/li>\n<li>An analytical mind with excellent problem-solving and mathematical ability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n30th April, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should forward their CV&#8217;s and Portfolio to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@chakarchitects.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>info@chakarchitects.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>:\u00a0No CV is accepted without portfolio of the candidate&#8217;s work<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CHAK Architects Limited \u2013 We are the CHAK Architects, a full-service design practice specializing in architecture and interior design.
