By working in partnership with local and international donors, AHI has helped to bring young people issues into the public domain and gotten state governments and the Federal government to take a stand in support thereof.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Senior Finance Officer<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure the provision of timely and accurate financial information to Management and Donors \/ Funders while ensuring efficient fulfilment of financial commitments to all stakeholders of AHI\u2019s work within and outside Lagos State<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Real-time review of budgeted \/actual programme expenditure and review of supporting documentation for retirement<\/li>\n<li>Computation of payments, preparation of vouchers and payment of participants\u2019 DSA, Transportation and Honorarium for training programmes and other events<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of trip budgets for AHI Staff and Consultants, including handling and review of supporting documentations submitted for advance retirements.<\/li>\n<li>Handling all cheque payments to AHI service providers.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of Weekly \/ Monthly Management Reports<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of Quarterly Financial Reports For Donors \/ Funders<\/li>\n<li>Preparation Monthly Bank Reconciliation.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of Monthly Schedule for PAYE, Withholding Tax Remittances.<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with Tax Authorities, Pension Fund Managers and Insurance Brokers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree \/ HND Accountancy<\/li>\n<li>2-3 Years Audit Experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience in local or international NGO an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Age Range \u2013 Less than 35 Years<\/li>\n<p><strong>Key Skills\/Competencies<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Package<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Strategic thinking, forecasting and planning skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their Resumes to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@actionhealthinc.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>info@actionhealthinc.org<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0clearly stating the position they are applying for and their full names in the subject area of the email as follows: \u201cSenior Finance Officer \u2013 ADAOBI ZAINAB OREOFE\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>16th March, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Action Health Incorporated (AHI) is a non-profit organization committed to creating opportunities for young people\u2019s successful transition to productive adulthood.
