Job Title:\u00a0General Manager \nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Sagamu, Ogun \nJob Type: Full Time \n \nDuties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n
To improve the organization\u2019s market position and achieve financial growth. The General Manager will be responsible for implementing the strategic plans of the company, providing oversight for the day to day running of the company\u2019s businesses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Responsibilities will include the following:<\/strong> \nStrategic<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
\n
Provide leadership and direction for the day to day running of the company.<\/li>\n
Develop and oversee the achievement of the company\u2019s balance scorecard; draw up plans for driving the company towards achieving set targets.<\/li>\n
Maintains operations by preparing policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and patron-service standards; determining and implementing system improvements.<\/li>\n
Identifying and mitigating risks \u2013 presenting these threats and solutions to the board quarterly.<\/li>\n
Oversee creation and regular update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and business operating processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Administrative Functions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
\n
Monitor inventory levels, manufacturing equipment, and other supplies as needed.<\/li>\n
Oversee the daily service operations and ensure quality standards.<\/li>\n
Track internal compliance and adherence to regulatory statues\/laws.<\/li>\n
Plan, manage, and monitor work as well as hiring, communicating, coaching staff, and building relationships.<\/li>\n
Ensure that company policy & procedures are understood and followed through performance Coaching & follow up<\/li>\n
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations<\/li>\n
Monitor the businesse to ensure that it efficiently and effectively provides needed services while staying within budgetary limits.<\/li>\n
Periodically review operational plans developed to run all administrative aspects of the company (admin., accounts, front desk, IT, facility management\/maintenance, Human Resources). Ensure plans are up to date \u2013 liaising with department heads.<\/li>\n
Track internal compliance (working with head of compliance) and adherence to external regulatory statues\/laws.<\/li>\n
Monitor 3rd Party relationships to ensure efficient and effective service delivery<\/li>\n
Ensure all service aspects of the company are well run with very minimal service failures.<\/li>\n
Direct and coordinate the execution of financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Business Development<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
\n
Identify industry and business growth opportunities and develop strategies to exploit.<\/li>\n
Conduct regular benchmarking with best practice, consumer trend analysis, competitive benchmarking etc.<\/li>\n
Direct and coordinate company\u2019s financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency<\/li>\n
Develop and implement various promotional strategies.<\/li>\n
Recommend ways to reach a broader audience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Qualifications\/Requirements<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
\n
Minimum of 8-12 years\u2019 working experience with at least 4 years in management with any or a combination of the following functional experience (Organisation, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Strategy)<\/li>\n
Also required is a high level of competency in business development.<\/li>\n
Experience and \/or knowledge of the food manufacturing industry are an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
