Housessories has interior specialists on hand to assist you focusing on planning, specifying and selecting ideal interior materials and products to suit your space.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a young, dynamic and hard working individual to join the Production team providing organization, support and monitoring workflow<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title<\/strong><strong>:\u00a0Production Supervisor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Group:\u00a0<\/strong>Production<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:\u00a0<\/strong>Operations Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the planning and coordination of all production activities to ensure that the company\u2019s\u00a0 production target are met<\/li>\n<li>We are looking for a young, dynamic and hard working individual to join the Production team providing organization, support and monitoring workflow<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Optimization of raw materials and machines to reduce wastage and downtime<\/li>\n<li>Ensure quality control of raw materials and finished products<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate in-house productions and site projects effectively<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of machinery \u2013 factory tools and equipment are working (including the generator)<\/li>\n<li>Development and facilitation of training for junior staff on optimum procedures<\/li>\n<li>Production planning and timely delivery<\/li>\n<li>Setting up of production procedures and principles<\/li>\n<li>Technical knowledge of raw material machinery usage and project designs and interpretation.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure project completion is timely and within budget<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of technical building issues and the range of relevant products and materials<\/li>\n<li>Assess critical labour demands and sourcing of same<\/li>\n<li>Keeping track of the production capacity and allocation of machinery<\/li>\n<li>Advise on purchasing of production machinery<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the inventory manager to ensure that all materials are available for production<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with design department to ensure that all work order, cutting lists are as ordered.<\/li>\n<li>New product development &amp; passion to drive product from concept to product launch.<\/li>\n<li>Meeting production targets on a \u00a0\u00a0weekly and monthly basis<\/li>\n<li>Develop routine update report on production<\/li>\n<li>Adherence to established policies, procedures and safety standards.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain discipline amongst staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualities Desired<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to establish the performance goals, allocate factory resources, and assess policies for senior management.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to demonstrate successful execution of the company\u2019s production plan and services.<\/li>\n<li>Be the driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture and values of the production unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and communications skills<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role<\/li>\n<li>Public speaking and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Expert knowledge of budgeting and budget tracking, project management and strategic planning.<\/li>\n<li>Supervision, Managing Processes and Process Improvement<\/li>\n<li>Production Planning, Controls and Instrumentation<\/li>\n<li>Financial Planning and Strategy<\/li>\n<li>Advance Skills in Microsoft Office Suite<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Housessories\u00a0is a privately owned interior\/lifestyle company engaged in the designing, manufacturing and marketing of premium space solutions.
