We are focused on investment management, property development, real estate consulting and mining &amp; quarrying.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Title: Manager, Human Resources &amp; Legal<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong><br \/>\nSummary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As Human Resources Manager\/Legal Officer, you will be responsible for attracting top talent to fill open positions.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating employees, recommending improvements to employee relations policies.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all required laws and regulations and draft and negotiate contracts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruitment: create job description, shortlist, interview, select candidates and advise managers on candidate\u2019s selection, conduct and analyze exit interviews.<\/li>\n<li>Create and implement policies on issues such as performance management, working conditions and equal opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Organize orientation and training programs for employees to improve overall productivity and results.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure planning, monitoring, counselling, appraisal, discipline of employees and handling grievances.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.<\/li>\n<li>Advise on pay and remuneration issues such as benefits and promotions and regularly review staff salaries.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.<\/li>\n<li>Administer performance appraisal system that drives high performance.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee employment law compliance and compliance to regulatory concerns.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and review the company\u2019s handbook on policies.<\/li>\n<li>Oversees employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health.<\/li>\n<li>Provide legal counsel on company related matters.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with external solicitors to ensure legal compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Contract administration.<\/li>\n<li>Act as land registries liaison.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Law degree (LLB, BL).<\/li>\n<li>Masters in Law or Human Resources Management.<\/li>\n<li>5\u2013 10 years experience in HR and company secretariat with a reputable organization.<\/li>\n<li>Applicable professional qualification including ICSAN will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite.<\/li>\n<li>Extraordinary attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Highly proactive and efficient.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n10th March, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidate should send their applications and CV&#8217;s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@levenuegroup.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>recruitment@levenuegroup.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Le\u2019Venue group of companies co-actively offer quality real estate solutions that range from primary to advanced needs.
