{"id":50463,"date":"2018-03-09T10:57:16","date_gmt":"2018-03-09T09:57:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=50463"},"modified":"2018-03-09T10:57:16","modified_gmt":"2018-03-09T09:57:16","slug":"apin-public-health-initiatives-hiring-new-position","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/apin-public-health-initiatives-hiring-new-position.html","title":{"rendered":"APIN Public Health Initiatives is Hiring for a New Position"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>APIN Public Health Initiatives is a non-governmental donor-funded organization dedicated to the prevention, treatment, care and support of diseases of public health importance in Nigeria, including HIV\/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, among others.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking qualified and suitable candidates to assume the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Associate \u2013 (Internal Control and Compliance)<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><br \/>\nReporting to the Manager \u2013 Internal Control &amp; Compliance, the job holder shall be responsible for monitoring compliance with APIN policies, donor requirements and general best practice:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Associate will support the internal control and compliance department to execute audit activities as contained in the approved Internal Audit Plan.<\/li>\n<li>S\/he will ensure that established procedures are being properly followed, assets are safeguarded and that resources are judiciously utilized, reviewing accounting records and systems within the overall context of the organization\u2019s internal control network as well as reviewing the level of compliance in respect of policies, plans, procedures, guidelines, laws and regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Degree in Accounting with minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in either internal or external auditing. Completion of ACA is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>She\/he must have eyes for details, Computer literate with proven knowledge in Word and Excel, with professional integrity and respect for confidentiality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n15th March, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>APIN offers very competitive terms of employment and is an equal opportunity employer.
