We are passionate about brewing and have a long tradition of craftsmanship, making superb beer from high-quality natural ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Logistics Controller<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reference Number:<\/strong> SAB-393<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Ilesa, Osun<br \/>\n<strong>Work Level<\/strong>: Senior<br \/>\n<strong>Type<\/strong>: Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An opportunity exists at International Breweries Plc, Ilesa for experienced Logistics Controller (Dry Site) reporting to the Logistics Manager.<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent will be responsible for Warehousing and Distribution Operations, Customer Service, Transportation Management,\u00a0 and Audit in the depot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nAmongst other duties, the Logistics Controller will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise receipt of all shipments<\/li>\n<li>Effective management of FIFO<\/li>\n<li>Minimise stock losses, breakages and expiration<\/li>\n<li>Supervise, evaluate and train employees assigned to the depot.<\/li>\n<li>Direct and maintain safety programme (DPO) for all employees in the depot.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in budget development and exercise budgetary control over depot operations.<\/li>\n<li>Process recording, discrepancy and damage reports as needed<\/li>\n<li>Ensure inventory accuracy by monitoring daily warehouse activities, cycle counts and stock takes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Management Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related fields.<\/li>\n<li>3 \u2013 5 years hands-on experience material planning &amp; logistics, purchasing &amp; supply or store management in the FMCG industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nMarket-Related.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/sabmiller.mcidirecthire.com\/External\/Job?ref=Sm9iSWQ9MzkzJlNvdXJjZT1HZW5lcmljLVNoYXJlJnVuaXF1ZT0yMDE4MDMxMTE2#.WqVMK5VQMxc.twitter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SABMiller is in the beer and soft drinks business, bringing refreshment and sociability to millions of people all over the world who enjoy our drinks.
