AVA has three major arms which have been streamlined to meet our customer\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Network &amp; System Engineer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<strong><br \/>\nDuties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide remote and onsite technical support for corporate clients.<\/li>\n<li>Design, implement and support IT, Security and Network Solutions for corporate clients.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot Core network problems.<\/li>\n<li>Upgrade core network equipment and configuration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Report to his supervisors.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible work schedule and Ability to perform night interventions.<\/li>\n<li>Handle 24\/7 on-call responsibilities for two weeks per month from the office or 10 minutes\u2019 perimeter.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for all assigned equipment to his team.<\/li>\n<li>Should maintain a high level of personal responsibility in order to be an example to his colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Abide and apply the rules and regulations of the department and the company as a whole.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for achieving any assignment given by his Manager<\/li>\n<li>Keeping up to date with departmental and company notification via Emails, Noticeboard and other mediums<\/li>\n<li>Keeps himself up-to-date with the technologies required by companies.<\/li>\n<li>High ability and readiness for any kind of urgent intervention at client sites to meet SLAs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSC (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Communication Engineering or Telecom.<\/li>\n<li>Certifications:\n<ul>\n<li>CCNP is a must.<\/li>\n<li>Windows and Linux certifications are a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Experience:\n<ul>\n<li>A previous experience in deploying ICT infrastructures is mandatory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Language Qualifications:\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Good verbal and writing skills in English are mandatory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Configuration and maintenance of cisco networks (routers and switches)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable in Mikrotik router boards Configuration.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge in EIGRP, OSPF, BGP VLAN, Trunks and VPN networks.<\/li>\n<li>Very Good Knowledge in Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs<\/li>\n<li>Good Knowledge in Unix Servers (Red hat, Centos, and Debian\u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to design topologies and provide consultancy for corporate customers.<\/li>\n<li>In depth knowledge of TCP\/IP protocol stack.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshooting distribution and core Network problems.<\/li>\n<li>LAC\/LNS Implementation and troubleshooting knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>MPLS L2VPNs, L3VPNs and VPLS knowledge is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Very Good knowledge in IP sub-netting, super-netting and aggregation.<\/li>\n<li>Cisco ASA and Juniper firewalls configuration and maintenance is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge in Virtualization.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand and work on new technologies and to quickly adapt to equipment made by different vendors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Applications and CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@alfred-victoria.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>recruitment@alfred-victoria.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with the subject \u201cNetwork &amp; system Engineer\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>16th March, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alfred &amp; Victoria Associates is one of Nigeria\u2019s leading ICT solution based company.
