This position will ensure adequate annual audit plan is maintained and monitored for all LOPIN-2 projects and Headquarters, Implementing Agents (IAs)\/ sub recipients and ensure efficient, effective and compliant grant management of the USAID grant.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will conduct audits of USAID sub-recipients\/sub-contractors\u2019 financial reports, assessment of internal control systems, verification of assets, and ensure compliance with contract terms and donor rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will also review USAID transactions at the WEWE head office and field offices to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will conduct investigation or forensic audit if fraudulent activities are suspected and assist during annual donor and external audits activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must possess first degree (B.Sc.\/HND) in Accounting or its equivalent in related field ACA\/ACCA certification is a key requirement for this position<\/li>\n<li>A Master\u2019s degree in Accounting\/Finance or relevant field is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess a minimum of seven (7) years post NYSC experience in full control\/compliance function in a non-governmental or other relevant Organisation with at least 2 years at a managerial level<\/li>\n<li>S\/He must possess ability to use relevant accounting software and ERP software such as QuickBooks<\/li>\n<li>Must possess excellent planning and Organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Creativity and strong analytical skills are important for this position<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work with minimal supervision and must possess a high level of integrity and responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Must be ready to travel at short notices for audit assignments.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess good report writing skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Senior Officer, Internal Audit &amp; Compliance<\/strong><br \/>\nJob Reference Code: WEWE-LOPIN2SNROFF<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>This position reports to the Manager-Internal Audit &amp; Compliance, the successful candidate will be responsible for the review of WEWE internal control systems and compliance with WEWE, donor, statutory rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will also be responsible for conducting financial reviews and audits of Implementing Agents (IAs) or sub-recipients\/sub-contractors.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will conduct quarterly review of WEWE field offices operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures as per WEWE\u2019s manuals on financial reporting, procurement, travels and inventory regulations.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will participate in mid-year and annual physical inventory counts and reconciliation to safeguard the organisation\u2019s assets.<\/li>\n<li>S\/He will conduct investigation or forensic audit if fraudulent activities are suspected and assist during annual donor and external audits activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Experience<\/strong><br \/>\nMinimum Academic\/Professional Qualifications required for the position:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must possess a first degree in Accounting or its equivalent in a relevant field.
