gas industry in the West African sub region.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Rigger<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Reference Code<\/strong>: KGR\/CO\/RG\/03\/18<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Akwa Ibom (Onshore\/Offshore)<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type<\/strong>: Contract<br \/>\n<strong>Responsibilities\/Summary of Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Align, level, and anchor machinery.<\/li>\n<li>Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools.<\/li>\n<li>Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole booms, using bolts and clamps.<\/li>\n<li>Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces, using chainfalls, gin poles, gallows frames, and other equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.<\/li>\n<li>Set up, and repair rigging, supporting structures, hoists, and pulling gear, using hand and power tools.<\/li>\n<li>Manipulate rigging lines, hoists, and pulling gear to move or support materials such as heavy equipment, ships, or theatrical sets.<\/li>\n<li>Select gear such as cables, pulleys, and winches, according to load weights and sizes, facilities, and work schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads, in order to ensure safety of workers and materials.<\/li>\n<li>Tilt, dip, and turn suspended loads to maneuver over, under, and\/or around obstacles, using multi-point suspension techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Clean and dress machine surfaces and component parts<\/li>\n<li>Report all incidents, accidents and near misses to the HSE Coordinator.<\/li>\n<li>Wear appropriate PPE when required.<\/li>\n<li>Attend daily toolbox meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Attend safety meetings when programmed.<\/li>\n<li>Stop any work that can potentially harm people, assets or the environment.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake procedure qualification test.<\/li>\n<li>And any other duties that may be \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Akwa Ibom (Onshore\/Offshore)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities\/Summary of Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut and fit pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches and pipe and benders.<\/li>\n<li>Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications by welding and brazing joints.<\/li>\n<li>Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Measure and mark pipes for cutting and welding.<\/li>\n<li>Lay out full-scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints.<\/li>\n<li>Plan with Site Supervisor for any pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Select pipe sizes and types and related materials, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Cut and bore holes in structures, such as bulkheads, decks, walls, and mains, prior to pipe installation, using hand and power tools.<\/li>\n<li>Report all incidents, accidents and near misses to the HSE Coordinator.<\/li>\n<li>Wear appropriate PPE when required.<\/li>\n<li>Attend daily toolbox meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Attend safety meetings when
