{"id":50922,"date":"2018-03-15T14:33:32","date_gmt":"2018-03-15T13:33:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=50922"},"modified":"2018-03-15T14:33:32","modified_gmt":"2018-03-15T13:33:32","slug":"aldelia-group-job-openings-2-positions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/aldelia-group-job-openings-2-positions.html","title":{"rendered":"Aldelia Group Job Openings [2 Positions]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aldelia Group \u2013 An established retail &amp; wholesales company that specializes in the importation and supply of high-quality building materials and construction equipment in Nigeria, is recruiting to fill the positions below:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Facilities Engineer \u2013 Locals Only<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<strong><br \/>\nPrimary Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Facilities Engineer is responsible for the supervision and administration of the organization\u2019s facilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Task<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interaction with the Facilities Manager in the compliance of contractual requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with the applicable work specifications of contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Controlling costs and utilization of manpower for optimum performance.<\/li>\n<li>Perform continuous on the job training for junior personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining of records, documents both electronically and hard copies where appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Build rapport with clients and facilitate effective coordination and communication between management and customers<\/li>\n<li>Develop client relationships to attract new business opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Perform regular inspections of client and company accommodation and office facilities to ensure required standards of cleanliness are maintained.<\/li>\n<li>Continuous monitoring of unit supervisors with a view to improving efficiency, technique, and service levels<\/li>\n<li>Direction, control, and supervision of administrative and Food Services, housing &amp; recreation facilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Employee may also be required to perform duties not directly related to their area of experience or expertise, in which case proper instruction will be provided by the Company;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the highest ethical standards are maintained in all activities;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct himself in a dignified and respectful manner that reflects well on the Employer and also sets an example for the other employees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 10 years experience in the oil and gas sector within the oil and gas<\/li>\n<li>The resilience to deal with periods of work pressure and diplomacy to deal with difficult employees, customers, contactors, and others in the course of their duties;<\/li>\n<li>Reliable, with the ability to maintain high levels of service;<\/li>\n<li>Motivated by the ability to effectively work on own initiative;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage large or multi-level personnel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for recording and maintaining up to date records of the Company\u2019s daily financial transactions. He will be responsible for the timely implementation of the Company\u2019s policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>He will be responsible for analyzing account balances for validity and ultimately feed the line report with accurate financial information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Deliverables<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure daily posting of all payments in the accounting system<\/li>\n<li>Identifying recurring obligations and recording reasonably accurate accruals<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Prepare regular remittance advice for vendor payments<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the monitoring of vendors and service providers\u2019 accounts and reconciliation with vendors<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with operations team and maintain accurate records of obligations due at any point in time.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure regular inter-company reconciliations and prompt resolution of differences<\/li>\n<li>Revaluations of account payable balances as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the petty cash records in line with the laid down policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualification \/ Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Economics or relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Must have commenced ICAN examination with skills level passed at a minimum<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years and 4 years maximum post NYSC work experience in a similar role preferably in the downstream sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge\/Skills<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must possess very sound knowledge of basic accounting<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of taxes and statutory deductions in Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to do simple analysis and interpretation of financial transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Applications and CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:boluwatife.akinyemi@aldelia.com\"><strong>boluwatife.akinyemi@aldelia.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>26th March, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Only qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aldelia Group \u2013 An established retail &amp;
