We hope to support and improve the governance tree in healthcare provision in this arena.<\/p>\n<p>This Foundation is a testimony and acknowledgment of the valuable contributions to child welfare by the Late Lady Helen Odeka who devoted over 50 years of her working life to promoting the health and wellbeing of new borns, infants, children and adolescents in Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Coordinating Administrator\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are therefore looking for someone who shares in this Vision to help in moving this organization to the next phase of implementing values that will make things better.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties of the Post<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote activities of the Foundation<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with press, stakeholders, Donor Agencies<\/li>\n<li>Ability to negotiate and empathize<\/li>\n<li>Organize and generate public interest on the activities of the Foundation.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing and maintaining close collaboration with mass media, as well as with groups and organizations whose support is essential to the achievement of the Foundation\u2019s Goals<\/li>\n<li>Create a usable database with computer savvy stance and maintain\/ update organizational contact lists\/database.<\/li>\n<li>Creative and able to use initiative on behalf of the Organization<\/li>\n<li>Prepare background communication and promotional materials for briefings and visits to media houses<\/li>\n<li>Ability to organize Seminars<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Essential<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education: Minimum of a 1st Degree or its equivalent<\/li>\n<li>ICT Skills: Use of IT Skills for management information and communication channel.<\/li>\n<li>Social Media: Experience and ability to demonstrate the use of social media channels as well as digital content editing in the workplace.<\/li>\n<li>Communication: Highly developed verbal, written, and oral skills to promote and represent the Foundation.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of common WHO definition of relevant statistics in Child Health matters (e.g Immunization, Child\/ Infant Mortality, Poverty Alleviation)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Communications or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Able to represent in person and communicate in a highly engaging way<\/li>\n<li>Ability to demonstrate marketing skills<\/li>\n<li>Most show enthusiasm to be engaged in research work<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience working with a Foundation<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of website development and management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Information<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salary commensurate with experience and maybe negotiable<\/li>\n<li>Training will be offered to successful candidate where gaps are noted that needs addressing in line with the Foundation\u2019s vision (training needs to be discussed during the interview)<\/li>\n<li>Office space and computer support will be available<\/li>\n<li>LHCHF will expect the appointee to maintain the website and related IT issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n30th March, 2018<\/p>\n<section id=\"listing-fields\"><\/section>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV&#8217;s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:vacancy@ladyhelenchildfoundation.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>vacancy@ladyhelenchildfoundation.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lady Helen Child Health Foundation (LHCHF) was established to provide suitable evidence-based healthcare and information\/support to needy children and family in a timely manner.
