Sunray Ventures currently works in three different verticals.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Financial Controller<br \/>\nLocation<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for financial controllers to support our businesses in renewable energy, recycling and consumer goods distribution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition for the Group\u2019s companies.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.<\/li>\n<li>Manage month-end and year-end close process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements, Experience &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualification as a Chartered Accountant.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications in particular MS Excel at an advanced standard.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Quick Books and or Xero accounting software is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Attributes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>You are discrete and protect confidential information.<\/li>\n<li>You have strong analytical and numerical skills, allowing you to think through and solve financial and accounting problems.<\/li>\n<li>You have excellent time management and organizational skills, which allow you to perform in a high-pressure environment.<\/li>\n<li>You have strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people of diverse cultures.<\/li>\n<li>You are willing to learn and constantly strive to improve your performance.<\/li>\n<li>When experiencing a challenging task, you are able to motivate yourself and are willing to work flexible hours if necessary<\/li>\n<li>You are pleasant, tactful and approachable throughout the workday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary and benefits package<\/li>\n<li>Highly dynamic and ambitious international team<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity for fast track personal growth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/workable.com\/j\/784194567B\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to apply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sunray Ventures is an African venture builder, addressing Africa\u2019s core opportunities and challenges, by building and growing high-impact companies that are leaders in their respective fields.
