Our unique approach combines ground-breaking innovation with decades of deep personal relationships and community-driven solutions to solve the problems faced by those furthest left behind and most marginalised.<\/p>\n<p>In Nigeria, we are improving the quality of health by increasing access to basic services including access to safe water, increased sanitation, and improved hygiene practices. We focus on Better Health because without health there can be no development. Good primary healthcare starts with the basics of access to clean water and sanitation<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Local Technical Support Officer (LTSO)<br \/>\nLocations:\u00a0<\/strong>Ado, Gboko &amp; Gwer West \u2013 Benue<br \/>\n<strong>Slot<\/strong>: 3<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scale-UP Rural Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion in Nigeria (RUSHPIN) Programme<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are expanding our current work funded by the Global Sanitation Fund into three additional Local Government Areas with matching funds from the Benue State government. Combining behavioural changes through community-led-total Sanitation (CLTS) and hygiene promotions, the programme seeks to reach entire population s of Ado, Gboko and Gwer East LGAs of Benue State.<\/li>\n<li>Location: Ado, Gboko and Gwer West Local Government Areas (with frequent travel to field sites in the LGAs and possible relocation to other areas of highest needs to meet project).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s and a short Cover Letter to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:nigeria@united-purpose.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>nigeria@united-purpose.org<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Application Deadline\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>3rd April, 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are encouraged to apply promptly to avoid disappointment.
