We will ensure that ours is the \u201cRight Chemical Solution\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Warehouse Manager<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products.<\/li>\n<li>Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nAs a warehouse manager, you\u2019ll need to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies<\/li>\n<li>Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods<\/li>\n<li>Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met<\/li>\n<li>Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded<\/li>\n<li>Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis<\/li>\n<li>Visit customers to monitor the quality of service they are receiving<\/li>\n<li>Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Where appropriate, oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems.<\/li>\n<li>Have a clear understanding of the company\u2019s policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Respond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone<\/li>\n<li>Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate<\/li>\n<li>Plan future capacity requirements<\/li>\n<li>Organise the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress<\/li>\n<p><strong>Requirement and Skills<\/strong><br \/>\nYou will need to have:<\/p>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Management or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>The ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team of people<\/li>\n<li>Analytical ability<\/li>\n<li>Initiative and decisiveness<\/li>\n<li>Technical and IT skills, particularly when it comes to database management and spreadsheets<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving skills and the ability to work on a tactical and strategic level<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Numeracy and an understanding of finance<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the legal requirements of operating a warehouse<\/li>\n<li>People management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate others, delegate work and explain ideas<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organising skills<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work as part of a team<\/li>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their Applications and CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@markgrayindustries.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>info@markgrayindustries.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with the subject \u201cWarehouse Manager\u201d<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mark Gray Industries Inc. believes that we must embrace the challenge of changes, do more with less, and be better than the competition.
