The Place is a profitable player in the QSR industry in Nigeria with great prospects and staff strength of +1300 employees.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Fleet\/Logistics Supervisor<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lekki Phase I, Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type<\/strong>: Full-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Fleet\/logistics supervisor is to oversee the Company\u2019s fleet\/logistics activities of the Company\u2019s fleet.<\/li>\n<li>Overall, to develop, maintain and continuously improve fleet operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee activities with regards to the acquisition, repair and preventive maintenance and replacement of fleet to meet company\u2019s logistics needs<\/li>\n<li>Follow up with finance to ensure updated and adequate vehicle documents<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement risk management systems for fleet management<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with finance\/internal audit to ensure adequate control and monitoring of fuel usage- usage and records<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the procurement and management of vehicle space<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate all activities in the dispatch of items- requisition, planning, scheduling, reconciliation with regards to operational requirements<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the timely dispatch of stock\/item from central warehouse\/kitchen in line with defined policies<\/li>\n<li>Implement and monitor efficient car tracking solutions<\/li>\n<li>Oversee all dispatch processing and handover activities ensuring documentation- proof of delivery, stock dispatch notes, goods received notes etc.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee conduct of trainings for drivers<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and resolve all incidences of missing, incomplete\/damaged stock\/equipment\/items during dispatch<\/li>\n<li>Ensure daily reconciliation of stock\/equipment dispatch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree in any discipline<\/li>\n<li>Displays a high level of integrity<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask and function under pressure<\/li>\n<li>At least two years hands-on experience at supervisor level in a commercial environment with a large amount of stock level<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of Lagos environment, routes, traffic<\/li>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.smartrecruiters.com\/ThePlace1\/743999667978250-fleet-logistics-supervisor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Candidates who do not meet the above criteria need not apply<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Place Nigeria is a trademark of Smackers Limited, a company registered in 2003 to explore opportunities in the hospitality sector in Nigeria.
