Shalom helps the poor foundation was formed by princess obinna in 2012 in Nigeria and UK.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0FUND &amp; Grant Fundraiser<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Nationwide<br \/>\nContract type: part time<br \/>\nHours: 15 hours per week<br \/>\nJob type: Contract<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify and research new trusts, foundations and corporate funding opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, write and present persuasive and innovative proposals for submission to trusts and other funding bodies<\/li>\n<li>Submit timely reports to trusts and other donors to meet their monitoring and evaluation requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing funding\/grant making organisations.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with all departments to help develop and implement the fundraising strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Open fund raising with volunteers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About You<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The successful candidate must be an experienced grant and trusts fundraiser with proven experience and a track record for at least two years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Successfully securing funding to a range of organisations including large institutional funders.<\/li>\n<li>Strong monitoring and evaluation skills<\/li>\n<li>A thorough knowledge of grant making trusts and of different methods to research them<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience of personally securing significant gifts (millions and pounds) from trusts and private sectors developing and delivering against income and expenditure budgets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nPercentage job.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@shalomhelpsthepoor.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>info@shalomhelpsthepoor.org<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shalom Helps the Poor Foundation \u2013 An exciting opportunity in this new role giving you the opportunity to help shape the direction of the charity\u2019s fundraising activity, working for a&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[50,1],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Shalom Helps the Poor Foundation is Hiring!
