The organization has different subsidiaries focused on Crop-Protection, Export, Healthcare and Personal &amp; Home-Care.<\/p>\n<p>They are currently recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reference Number:<\/strong> 130-PEO00862<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> People &amp; Change Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Job type:<\/strong> Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinates the establishment\/development of strategic priorities, yearly objectives and yearly budgets for our client and its subsidiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Assesses the company\u2019s overall performance against both the annual budget (in line with the levers of control) and the company\u2019s approved 5-year Plan.<\/li>\n<li>Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Group MD and provides actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.<\/li>\n<li>Carries out periodic Macro-Economic Analysis to help review the company\u2019s strategic assumptions and advise on redress measures where necessary<\/li>\n<li>Collates the financial business plans and forecasts of the subsidiaries, and presents same to management as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Promotes adherence to approved guidelines and policies across all subsidiaries<\/li>\n<li>Oversees Financial and Risk Management activities and processes across our client\u2019s subsidiaries<\/li>\n<li>Ensures the right mechanisms are in place across the organisation, to ensure all Suppliers obligations are paid when due<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates the Cash Flow Planning Process for all subsidiaries. Identifies possible funding gaps and advises on funding sources.<\/li>\n<li>Supports the company\u2019s credit policy by ensuring the controls in place are adequate, and infractions are reported promptly<\/li>\n<li>Ensures efficient use of financial resources, leading to a shorter cash conversion cycle and high productivity<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates the timely execution of financial reporting processes for both the organisation and its holding companies<\/li>\n<li>Ensures full compliance with all tax regimes and reporting requirements in all locations within which our client and its subsidiaries operates. Ensures remittances are made on time and returns are filed within the stipulated time frames<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of a B.Sc in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACCA or ACA).<\/li>\n<li>An MBA or equivalent postgraduate management degree is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years relevant experience, with at least 4 years\u2019 experience in a leadership position<\/li>\n<li>Work experience within FMCG, Manufacturing or Trading organizations is required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pwc.co.za\/executive-search-kenya\/details.html?nPostingID=3702&amp;nPostingTargetID=54447&amp;option=52&amp;sort=DESC&amp;respnr=1&amp;ID=PVVFK026203F3VBQB796GLOPR&amp;Resultsperpage=10&amp;lg=UK&amp;mask=kenyacareerssite\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Apply Here<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Head of Accounts<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reference Number:<\/strong> 130-PEO00861<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> People &amp; Change Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nRoles &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nBusiness Planning and Financial Strategy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assesses the company\u2019s performance against the annual budget and the company\u2019s approved 5-year Plan<\/li>\n<li>Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the MD and provides actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations<\/li>\n<li>Assists in establishing strategic priorities and yearly objectives for the subsidiary.<\/li>\n<li>Develops and utilises forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analysis to provide insight into the company\u2019s operations and business plans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Financial Control and Risk Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures there is a thorough review of Stock Reconciliation, advices management on variance analysis and general stock management at all Drop Points and the terminal.<\/li>\n<li>Assesses and manages risks associated with Receivables. Monitors and provides real-time reports on credit Control Policy, and organises quarterly debtors validation exercise with the Risk and Compliance unit<\/li>\n<li>Ensures variance analysis is monitored electronically by the finance team<\/li>\n<li>Ensures Customers\u2019 statements are circulated every month and feedback gotten from the customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cash Flow Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures the right mechanisms are in place to ensure all Suppliers obligations are paid when due<\/li>\n<li>Manages the Cash Flow Planning Process and reports actual cash flow performance.
