Since commencing operations in March 1997 the company continues to grow and exerts its presence in numerous Projects in the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nJob Title: Construction Site Lead \u2013 Expat<br \/>\nJob Type:<\/strong> Contracts<br \/>\n<strong>Job Nature:<\/strong> Rotation (8 weeks on\/2 weeks off)<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nMain Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead Site Safety<\/li>\n<li>Lead company site team (as assigned) for completion of construction activities in accordance with project objectives, priorities, and contract specifications<\/li>\n<li>Serve as member of the Project Team (PT) when project assigned<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the execution of fabrication, construction, and hookup<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate activities of site safety, technical, and quality inspection personnel<\/li>\n<li>Determine if corrective actions are needed in order to meet project objectives, and work to have these implemented<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate site interfaces between contractors (and subcontractors) with Production Operations, Drilling, and other ongoing projects as applicable<\/li>\n<li>Report progress, performance, initiatives, issues, and challenges to Construction Site Manager or Project Manager as appropriate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Tasks and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Champion the Company Sites Leadership Expectations<\/li>\n<li>Champion on-site safety awareness and safe performance with contractor and among Project Team members<\/li>\n<li>Lead\/assist in preparation and development of construction planning deliverables (Pre-Check Point 2)<\/li>\n<li>Interface with contractor on a day to day basis<\/li>\n<li>Provide input in the review and development of contractor\u2019s detailed plans and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and appraise contractor\u2019s performance and recommend corrective action to be taken where deficiencies are detected; verify actions are taken<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate resolution of construction related issues with guidance from supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Establish, implement, and maintain verification process for mechanical completion<\/li>\n<li>Utilize best practices, Comes, and other current Construction systems\/tools<\/li>\n<li>Ensure appropriate materials management system is implemented at site<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with on-site personnel regarding planning and implementation of fabrication, construction, and mechanical completion activities<\/li>\n<li>Participate in company\u2019s learned reviews and provide input to close-out report sections upon completion of work<\/li>\n<li>Ensure execution of the contract is in compliance with contract specifications<\/li>\n<li>Ensure change requests are in accordance with Management of Change Plan<\/li>\n<li>Provide input to appraisal process for assigned site personnel<\/li>\n<li>Manage the project business services and contracting and materials management organization and functional interfaces through the Execution Stage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Years\u2019 experience in-field Construction planning, execution, and completions<\/li>\n<li>BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or Technical degree<\/li>\n<li>Willing to travel (domestic\/overseas) to project sites<\/li>\n<li>Past Construction Site Lead experience on major capital project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date<\/strong><br \/>\n9th April, 2018.<\/p>\n<section id=\"listing-fields\"><\/section>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited, (formerly Moody International Nigeria Limited) was established in 1996 as a partnership between Moody International Group and Nigerian investors.
