Collaboration and teaming are a must as we have a tight knit ,humble team that thrives on delivering solutions together.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Role Description<\/strong><br \/>\nThis position is a mid-level Ruby application developer with Ruby on Rails experience. The employee has a passion for clean, well-tested code and a desire to learn and try new technologies. Our current technology stack includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ruby on Rails<\/li>\n<li>CoffeeScript<\/li>\n<li>EmberJS<\/li>\n<li>Resque<\/li>\n<li>PostgreSQL<\/li>\n<li>MongoDB<\/li>\n<li>Redis<\/li>\n<li>ElasticSearch<\/li>\n<li>AWS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Qualifications Desired<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Sciences with experience of 2+ years in the areas outlined above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience requirements<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The employee has experience with a range of technologies from CSS and HTML to database design. For example, you do not need to be a JavaScript or PostgreSQL expert but you should be comfortable with jQuery and know the principals of good database design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Software Engineer having experience in these areas and toolsets:<\/li>\n<li>2+ years professional experience with Object Oriented languages<\/li>\n<li>1+ year(s) professional experience with Ruby\/RoR<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Git version control<\/li>\n<li>You have some open-source code on GitHub for us to look at.<\/li>\n<li>A passion for TDD principles.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with JavaScript MVC frameworks (preferably Ember.js)<\/li>\n<li>Candidate should have experience in software development practices and should have excellent programming skills. Candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be energized by performing in a team environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies and Experience Desired<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong business and technical knowledge.
