The PR Lead is responsible for the operational, executional and tactical implementation of the PR plan for Microsoft Anglophone West Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The person will support the marketing organization by executing on regional public relations, internal communications, messaging, newsletters, case studies and video projects. They would manage the day-to-day relationships with PR agency partners and interface with internal Microsoft teams in Nigeria and WECA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Is the central person in the Nigeria office responsible for ensuring that Microsoft is perceived positively across all major stakeholders &amp; constituencies.<br \/>\n\u2022 Works across the company to help generate positive press coverage around news, events, activities, issues, developments &amp; personalities<br \/>\n\u2022 Leads press engagement strategy for the region, based on the Central WECA strategy, and develops &amp; maintains personal relationships with key media influencers<br \/>\n\u2022 Is responsible for understanding the top story strategy and meeting the monthly &amp; quarterly targets<br \/>\n\u2022 Manages relationship with and output of PR agency (based in Lagos)<br \/>\n\u2022 Manages PR &amp; Communications &amp; other marketing budgets accurately and efficiently<br \/>\n\u2022 Is counsel and support point for regional executives in terms of external communications<br \/>\n\u2022 Is responsible for all Nigeria Web site content<br \/>\n\u2022 Works with segments to develop commercial \/ public sector case studies<br \/>\n\u2022 Works with the UPG team to drive citizenship case studies<br \/>\n\u2022 Fills and manages the pipeline for citizenship evidence<br \/>\n\u2022 Reports to BMO Lead<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 5 years in the marketing communications industry (agency or in-house)<br \/>\n\u2022 Impeccable skills across PR and the rest of the marketing communications mix<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent writing, proofing &amp; editing skills<br \/>\n\u2022 ICT industry knowledge a plus<br \/>\n\u2022 Good presentation skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Solid finance\/budget management foundation<br \/>\n\u2022 Familiarity and ease interfacing at all levels of a multinational corporation<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/careers.microsoft.com\/JobDetails.aspx?ss=&amp;pg=0&amp;so=&amp;rw=1&amp;jid=18637&amp;jlang=EN\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to apply online to Microsoft.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft Nigeria is recruiting for a PR Manager.
