We aim to attract the best and brightest people, whatever their background, to bring new perspectives to some of the most challenging and inspiring projects around the world.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Manager \u2013 Hotel Project<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Reference<\/strong>: DP 21907<br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<br \/>\n<strong>Contract type<\/strong>: Permanent<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nThe Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working in a client facing, project management role, responsible for the delivery of hotel scheme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reporting to the clients team for the delivery of a major refurbishment of a high-end hotel project.<\/li>\n<li>A hands-on approach is essential and it is important that you will not only be client facing, but can demonstrate a good level of confidence and comfort working directly with our clients teams.<\/li>\n<li>Executing the clients strategy, managing the delivery through the extended professional team of local and international consultants and contractors.<\/li>\n<li>Managing a team that strives for quality, safety, cost and schedule improvements at every opportunity with all delivery partners, challenging and seeking to improve the project deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority through all stages of the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Health and safety objectives<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promoting workplace safety standards and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting any unsafe acts, conditions or accidents immediately.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting the safety team in achieving high standards of workplace safety.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously promoting and influencing a positive safety culture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nQualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree qualification is preferred but is not essential.<\/li>\n<li>Professional memberships are an advantage but are not essential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in high-end hospitality projects is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build and maintain key client relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable leadership qualities.<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office suite of programs.<\/li>\n<li>International or island environment project delivery experience is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent technical grounding in all aspects of project management.<\/li>\n<li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of all methods of procurement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.macegroup.com\/careers\/current-vacancies\/vacancy?ref=dp21907\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mace is an international consultancy and construction company that has delivered world class projects since 1990.
