{"id":52948,"date":"2018-04-10T13:27:25","date_gmt":"2018-04-10T12:27:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=52948"},"modified":"2018-04-10T13:27:25","modified_gmt":"2018-04-10T12:27:25","slug":"howard-partners-is-recruiting-for-a-new-position","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/howard-partners-is-recruiting-for-a-new-position.html","title":{"rendered":"Howard Partners is Recruiting for a New Position"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Howard Partners \u2013 Our client, a reputable private security company based in Abuja, is seeking the services of a qualified candidate to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Chief Executive Officer (CEO)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the Company\u2019s long term strategy with a view to creating shareholders\u2019 value.<\/li>\n<li>The CEO\u2019s leadership role also entails being ultimately responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing the Company\u2019s\u2019long and short term plans<\/li>\n<li>The CEO acts as a direct liaison between the Board and management of the Company and communicates to the Board on behalf of management.<\/li>\n<li>The CEO also communicates on behalf of the Company to shareholders, employees, Government authorities, other stakeholders and the public.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>More specifically, the duties and responsibilities of the CEO include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To lead, in conjunction with the Board, the development of the Company\u2019s strategy;<\/li>\n<li>To abide by specific internally established control systems and authorities, to lead by personal example and encourage all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the Company\u2019s standards and policies, including its environmental, safety and health policies.<\/li>\n<li>To lead and oversee the implementation of the Company\u2019s long and short term plans in accordance with its strategy;<\/li>\n<li>To ensure the Company is appropriately organized and staffed and to have the authority to hire and terminate staff as necessary to enable it to achieve the approved strategy;<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that the Directors are properly informed and that sufficient information is provided to the Board to enable the Directors to form appropriate judgments;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree or other relevant qualification in Management or related discipline.
