We democratize the right to succeed by giving families living in poverty access to the high-quality education that will allow their children to live a very different life.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Treasurer<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0<\/strong>Nigeria<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nAbout the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Treasurer reports to the Finance Director and is critical part of daily Finance functions. The Treasurer will play a vital role in improving and maintaining the financial standing of the company.<\/li>\n<li>The Treasurer will be responsible for reviewing cash movements, revenue recognition, managing financial risk and ensuring proper cash flow for daily operations.<\/li>\n<li>The treasurer should expect to work in a very fast-paced environment supporting a company that is constructing 150 academies a year with over 85,000 customers and continuously growing.<\/li>\n<li>The right hire for this position is driven, competitive, analytical, attentive, resourceful, organized and constantly seeking improvement.<\/li>\n<li>He or she pays attention to detail and is proficient at ERP systems and excel. The ideal candidate needs to have a flexible schedule and is willing to put in additional hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You Will Do<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing daily cash balances and advising on the market fluctuations;<\/li>\n<li>Providing advice on financial matters impacting on the company as a whole;<\/li>\n<li>Taking responsibility for, and supervising the work of, more junior members of staff;<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with bankers and maintaining positive working relationships;<\/li>\n<li>Keeping up to date with financial and industry developments;<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that a company\u2019s cash flow is adequate to allow it to operate effectively;<\/li>\n<li>Frecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from limited cash flow;<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking risk management activities to protect a company\u2019s financial well-being;<\/li>\n<li>Analysing the impact of financial markets on the performance of products or services;<\/li>\n<li>Creating solutions to new financial challenges by applying financial or treasury knowledge;<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with other departments, such as tax and accountancy, on a range of issues:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You Should Have<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree with relevant professional qualification<\/li>\n<li>At least 4 years of treasury experience at a reputable organization<\/li>\n<li>Experience with international currency preferred<\/li>\n<li>Deep experience working for a Company with hyper growth and complex challenges across a broad scope of work<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with a very unpredictable schedule<\/li>\n<li>Degree in a business\/finance related field<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in financial management systems<\/li>\n<li>Extremely proficient at excel with a basic understanding of forecasting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>You\u2019re Also<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A detailed doer \u2013 You have a track record of getting things done. You\u2019re organized and responsive.
