Capricorn Digital intends to support the growth of businesses through the efficient and effective distribution of digital products and services by utilising an extensive distribution footprint across Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Chief Technical Officer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Chief Technical Officer (CTO) our first technology go-to expert who will play an integral role in setting the company\u2019s strategic direction, development and future growth<\/li>\n<li>This position will oversee our overall technology development, technology utilization plan and manage all technology resources of our company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the strategy for technology platform, partnerships and external relationships<\/li>\n<li>Interface between clients and technical partners<\/li>\n<li>Drive company revenue by efficiently managing technical projects<\/li>\n<li>Supervise junior software developers<\/li>\n<li>Monitor KPIs and technology budgets to assess technological performance<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with department heads as advisor of all technologies involved with company<\/li>\n<li>Use stakeholders\u2019 feedback to inform necessary technical improvements and adjustments<\/li>\n<li>Study current and new industry trends, technologies, and software development<\/li>\n<li>Represent company at conferences and networking events<\/li>\n<li>Develop strategic plans and set timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all technical, web, and mobile app services<\/li>\n<li>Design and develop payment systems<\/li>\n<li>Build quality assurance and data protection processes<\/li>\n<li>Drive, manage and coordinate products and services (VAS) integration on the platforms either pre\/post integration implementation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Electronics Engineering or related field<\/li>\n<li>MBA, Master\u2019s degree in Information Technology or technology-related discipline preferred.<\/li>\n<li>10+ years\u2019 experience in software development role and Technical projects (Value Added Services, Service as a Service), with minimum 6 years in management or leadership roles, in a Payment Solution Company.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with technology relative to industry; Fintech, Payments<\/li>\n<li>Strong practical knowledge of technical projects, writing program codes, testing products in controlled, real situations before going live<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of engineering behind different types of POS devices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Attributes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to be a \u201cbig picture\u201d thinker<\/li>\n<li>Able to align multiple strategies and ideas<\/li>\n<li>Confident in producing and presenting work<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in a start-up environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem solving , analytical and creative skills<\/li>\n<li>Exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.<\/li>\n<li>High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Skills &amp; Abilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) is essential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attractive with benefits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s and Cover Letters to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@capricorndigi.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>careers@capricorndigi.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the Job Title as the subject of the e-mail.<br \/>\nOr<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/jobs\/view\/chief-technical-officer-at-capricorn-digital-limited-622437493\/?trkInfo=searchKeywordString%3A%2CsearchLocationString%3A%252C%2B%2Cvertical%3Ajobs%2CpageNum%3A0%2Cposition%3A15%2CMSRPsearchId%3A3c940b1e-ea54-449b-84e4-5cb036c70c6c&amp;refId=3c940b1e-ea54-449b-84e4-5cb036c70c6c&amp;trk=jobs_jserp_job_listing_text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Capricorn Digital Limited is a digital solutions and distribution company based in Nigeria.
