A 3,000 Hectare Oil Palm Plantation and processing facility-palm oil mill &amp; palm kernel crushing plant.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Farm Manager, Oil Palm Plantation<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Delta<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall responsibility for farm activities e.g. site clearing, nurseries establishment and management, planting, harvesting, plantation maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Organizing of the crop transport to the mill<\/li>\n<li>Farm budget and cost control<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and forwarding monthly Operations Report to Executive Management.<\/li>\n<li>Training and guidance of plantation staff<\/li>\n<li>Plan finances and production to maintain farm progress against budget parameters<\/li>\n<li>Oversee farming activities e.g. riving tractors, operating machinery, feeding livestock or spraying fields<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and monitor the quality of yield<\/li>\n<li>Ensure regulations concerning farm activities are complied with<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a knowledge of pests and diseases and an understanding of how they spread and how to treat them<\/li>\n<li>Apply health and safety standards across the farm estate<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the development of the plantations e.g. extensions and replanting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Must possess at least a degree in Agriculture \/ Forestry \/ Plantation Management or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Experience in land clearing, oil palm nursery and plantation management<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in use of Microsoft Office packages: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:norsworthyfarms-recruitment@outlook.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">norsworthyfarms-recruitment@outlook.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>19th April, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Norsworthy Farms &amp; Agro Allied Industries Limited is an integrated agro-industrial establishment.
