EMTS acquired a Unified Access Service License from the Nigerian Communications Commission in 2007. The License enables EMTS provide Fixed Telephony (wired or wireless), Digital Mobile Services, International Gateway Services and National\/Regional Long Distance Services in addition to spectrum assignments in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Officer, Legal Services (Property &amp; Litigation)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of assignments, leases,licences and related documents covering EMTS\u2019s properties\/sites<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participatein conducting searches on land which EMTS proposes to lease or buy.<\/li>\n<li>Assist inpreparing and conducting first-level vetting on all leases, licenses and relateddocuments covering EMTS\u2019s property, particularly base station sites. Renewdocuments in advance of expiry dates as required.<\/li>\n<li>Assist inpreparing and drafting property titles and site acquisition documentation asrequired.<\/li>\n<li>Ensureappropriate filing and safe custody of all property related documents.<\/li>\n<li>Collate andprepare appropriate daily, weekly and monthly activity and performance reportsfor the attention of the Head, Legal Operations &amp; Litigation<\/li>\n<li>Participatein conducting searches on commercial properties which EMTS proposes to lease orbuy.<\/li>\n<li>Assist inpreparing and conducting first-level vetting on all leases, licenses andrelated documents covering EMTS\u2019s commercial properties and renew documents inadvance of expiry dates as required.<\/li>\n<li>Assist inpreparing and drafting commercial property title documentation as required.<\/li>\n<li>Ensureappropriate filing and safe custody of all commercial property relateddocuments.<\/li>\n<li>Collate andprepare appropriate daily, weekly and monthly activity and performance reportsfor the attention of the Manager, Legal Services(HQ)<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, LegalServices(HQ)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree in Law.<\/li>\n<li>One year post NYSC work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience, Skills &amp; Competencies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Telecoms Regulations<\/li>\n<li>Legislationand Compliance<\/li>\n<li>Legal Contract Drafting<\/li>\n<li>Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution<\/li>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<li>Decision Making<\/li>\n<li>Leadershipand People Management<\/li>\n<li>Passion for Excellence<\/li>\n<li>Integrity<\/li>\n<li>Empowering people<\/li>\n<li>Growing people<\/li>\n<li>Team work<\/li>\n<li>Customer Focus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nNot Specified.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>9mobile, is a Nigerian private limited liability company.
