{"id":53936,"date":"2018-04-19T10:50:43","date_gmt":"2018-04-19T09:50:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=53936"},"modified":"2018-04-19T11:08:12","modified_gmt":"2018-04-19T10:08:12","slug":"protege-management-new-position-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/protege-management-new-position-available.html","title":{"rendered":"Protege Management New Position Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Protege Management, is a premier boutique Human Resource Consulting and Executive Search organisation that offer both local and international companies bespoke human resource consulting products and services across diverse sectors.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Chief Security Officer<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Guinea \u2013 Conakry<br \/>\n<strong>National<\/strong>: Nigeria or Others<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patrols and inspects buildings and grounds, within an assigned area, to detect and eliminate fire hazards and discourage vandalism.<\/li>\n<li>Interprets and enforces rules and regulations; safeguards life and property at state facilities or institutions and surrounding grounds.<\/li>\n<li>Responds to fire alarms and reports irregular activities; apprehends or expels violators; answers inquiries and gives directions to employees and the general public.<\/li>\n<li>Ventilates buildings to remove heat, smoke and gases; makes forced entries to rescue persons during fires or other emergencies.<\/li>\n<li>Checks authorized persons in or out of buildings and grounds area and assures that unauthorized persons are denied access; checks to see that doors and windows are secure and lights are out; directs traffic in the vicinity of state facilities and parking areas.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares oral and written reports of activities and incidents.<\/li>\n<li>Perform entry-level work in a training status to build their skills in security and fire prevention and protection procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of fire causes and the proper procedures for extinguishing various types of fires; of procedures to properly and safely operate various types of equipment and apparatuses; and of first aid. Ability is required to conduct security operations for an assigned facility or institution and surrounding grounds; to operate and maintain firefighting equipment; and to express ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible knowledge of the methods and objectives of security; and of standard fire prevention and protection theory. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; to follow written and oral instructions; and to evaluate emergency situations and adopt effective courses of action.<\/li>\n<li>Patrolling and inspecting buildings and grounds within assigned areas and enforcing laws, rules and regulations in safeguarding life and property.<\/li>\n<li>This includes inspecting hydrants and sprinklers for proper operation; checking fire extinguishers, emergency lighting and alarm systems for proper condition; inspecting places of public assembly for any violation of security or fire prevention practices; administering emergency measures; instructing institution employees in firefighting, first aid and other security procedures; responding to fire alarms and determining causes; and assisting in firefighting activities if required.
