Established in 2011, Shelze continues to seek brilliant minds to join its team in delivering world class services using cutting edge technology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Tax Analyst<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Lagos<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The position will be multi-disciplinary and focus on assisting with Federal and State income and property taxes. Computations. The position will serve multiple managers and\/or other more senior professional staff members within the tax department.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities &amp; deliverables<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with the preparation of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) &amp; Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS) Income tax returns and payments<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the preparation of responses to various tax audits<\/li>\n<li>Assist with responses to notices regarding FIRS and LIRS tax issues<\/li>\n<li>Conduct client tax compliance reviews and health checks<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate client monthly tax and other regulatory compliance requirements<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the Relevant Tax Authorities on behalf of Clients.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing research on various tax issues<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the preparation of income tax provision and tax account reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Assist with other projects as necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent analytical skills, motivation and confidence to independently address issues<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of MS Excel, MS Word &amp; Powerpoint<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of Nigerian Tax Laws<\/li>\n<li>Good command of written and spoken English<\/li>\n<li>Prior Leadership experience<\/li>\n<li>Solutions provider with the ability to take initiative<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Years of Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>0-2 Years of Experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Sc or HND in Accounting with a minimum of Second Class Upper or Upper Credit from a reputable University, College of Education or Polytechnic<\/li>\n<li>AAT<\/li>\n<li>ACA (added advantage)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong><span data-term=\"goog_1628987677\">27th April, 2018<\/span><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shelze Consulting is one of Nigeria\u2019s fastest growing financial advisory firms offering tax, assurance and other financial advisory services to companies in Nigeria.
