{"id":54130,"date":"2018-04-20T11:31:37","date_gmt":"2018-04-20T10:31:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/?p=54130"},"modified":"2018-04-20T11:31:37","modified_gmt":"2018-04-20T10:31:37","slug":"dreamfield-farm-resorts-new-job-alert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistnigeria.com\/dreamfield-farm-resorts-new-job-alert.html","title":{"rendered":"Dreamfield Farm Resorts New Job Alert!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dreamfield Farm Resorts, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Agronomist<br \/>\nLocation:<\/strong>\u00a0Osun<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat responsibilities will I have?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure accurate knowledge or reliable referrals to make recommendations to growers to achieve efficient crop production<\/li>\n<li>Soil sample fields including multiple depth sampling, sampling by geo-reference and multiple site sampling in the event of changes in soil texture<\/li>\n<li>Manage field trials, plant physiology and irrigation practices<\/li>\n<li>Remain up to date on crop nutrition and protection technology<\/li>\n<li>Create and administer an animal\/crop\/fruits\/Vegetables cultivation and rotation schedule that ensures continuous use of farmland with fallow processes incorporated where necessary; such schedule shall include consideration for (where possible) the following desired farm animals, fruits and vegetables: Kale, Spinach, Lettuce, Oregano, Parsley, Thyme, Tomato, Green and Red Pepper, Watermelon, Pineapple, Banana, Plantain, Oranges, Lemon, Lime, Moringa, Carrots<\/li>\n<li>Scout customer fields for weed, insects, disease and nutrition issues<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that application of seeding, fertility and pesticide occurs when weather conditions are optimal<\/li>\n<li>Gather, compile, analyze and interpret test results and prepare progress reports<\/li>\n<li>Analyze crop claim issues as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Document field evaluation of seed, chemical, specialty products and fertilizers<\/li>\n<li>Provide agronomic training for staff responsible for sales and marketing<\/li>\n<li>Assist with agronomic budgeting and cost monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Interact with suppliers, applicators and agronomy laboratories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat education and training required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s Degree in Agronomy or a related field is required to become an agronomist.<\/li>\n<li>It is also advised that you receive and maintain your Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@dreamfieldfarmresorts.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>hr@dreamfieldfarmresorts.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>30th April, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dreamfield Farm Resorts, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below: Job Title:\u00a0Agronomist Location:\u00a0Osun Job Description What responsibilities will I have?
