The company is best sourced for wide range of activities related to Stainless Steel Railings; Aluminum Railings; Burglary Proof; Stone Coated Roof; Office Partitions; Shower Cubicles; Furniture &amp; Fittings.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Procurement Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Oyo<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assists in organizing, coordinating and monitoring the assigned project procurement activities at the various stages of work, as well as takes the appropriate measures to ensure that the entire project procurement cycle is on schedule and within the budget and in accordance with requisition or contract requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Communicates with vendors to clarify, inform and resolve procurement issues.<\/li>\n<li>Provides assistance to office personnel on appropriate purchasing procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Assist and ensure the update of vendor database files in the company approved system in order to establish authorized vendor status.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in initiating and processing requests for quotations for department\u2019s purchases, researching, evaluating, and making appropriate selection of product or service classification from the company master vendor list.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure authorized signatory approvals are followed, and purchase order\/change orders are prepared and issued with applicable attachments.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains good relationships with vendors to provide the maximum utilization of their expertise, ideas, methods and material application in order to achieve maximum cost savings.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains the highest ethical and professional standards and ensures that all departmental guidelines are followed.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates with the logistics personnel to assure the timely and cost effective transport of all equipment and materials to the required site.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and file necessary vendor correspondence and purchasing documentation for information and auditing purposes in accordance with departmental file management system.<\/li>\n<li>Review, proofread, and verify forms, invoices, requisitions and financial documents as necessary for accuracy in calculation and adherence to policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in developing and implementing the procurement execution strategy and procedures in accordance with the company guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in planning and developing of project scheduling with reference to issue dates of requisitions and purchase order placement.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in monitoring the issue of material requisitions within required dates. Review requisitions for completeness and expediting all missing data and\/or documents and establish early required delivery dates for equipment and materials in accordance with procedure and schedule<\/li>\n<li>Assists in analyzing and evaluating purchase requisition forms, as assigned, to ensure purchases meet requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Communicates with requesting unit or department personnel in person, by telephone or in writing when discrepancies appear on unit\/department\u2019s purchase requisitions and modifies forms accordingly to ensure adherence with company\u2019s procurement processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good university First degree is required.<\/li>\n<li>At least one (1) years of related experience in a purchasing position<\/li>\n<li>Purchasing-related certifications i.e. Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience Required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>0-2 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills\/Qualifications Required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in supply chain development of procurement strategies is desirable<\/li>\n<li>thorough knowledge of commercial and legal terms and conditions<\/li>\n<li>General knowledge of procurement supply chain.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people are essential.<\/li>\n<li>Quality control \u2013 the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.<\/li>\n<li>Safety and security \u2013 the individual actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly.<\/li>\n<li>Document Control \u2013 Reviewing and keeping records of transaction of sale and purchase goods and services.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage contractual\/commercial issues.<\/li>\n<li>Good coordinating and multitasking skills<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal and team spirit skills<\/li>\n<li>Good bargaining, pricing and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Exercise good judgment in safeguarding confidential or sensitive information and adhere to high standards of confidentiality and honesty.<\/li>\n<li>Effective time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving, data literacy and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Good vendor management skills<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft office tools<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of general principles and practices of bargaining and purchasing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nInterested and qualified candidates should send their CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@kranite.com.ng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>info@kranite.com.ng<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline\u00a0<\/strong>15th May, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kranite Nigeria Limited commits itself to becoming an international company and a major Supplier and Designer Architectural Hardwares in Nigeria.
