We need suitable and qualified candidates to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Account Assistant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Ogun<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare statutory accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate and check to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.<\/li>\n<li>Sort out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.<\/li>\n<li>Validate invoices against items or services received.<\/li>\n<li>Check all financial transactions for accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Key data into company accounting system.<\/li>\n<li>Reconciling finance accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Enter and code financial transactions appropriately.<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile invoices received with departmental billings.<\/li>\n<li>Issue invoices to customers based on services rendered and\/or goods sold.<\/li>\n<li>Make and track payments.<\/li>\n<li>Make bank deposits and keep up records.<\/li>\n<li>Track expenses as they relate to specific projects and jobs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HND\/B.Sc in Accounting<\/li>\n<li>2-4 years experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field preferred<\/li>\n<li>Mathematical skills, Administrative skills.<\/li>\n<li>Account Experience in Factory setting is a compulsory criteria.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of ERP is also compulsory.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience with bookkeeping practices<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of accounting terminology<\/li>\n<li>Experience with accounting systems<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of filing systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary<\/strong><br \/>\nCompetitive<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their Applications and CV\u2019s to:\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:career@somotexnig.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>career@somotexnig.com<\/strong><\/a>using \u201cAccount Assistant\u201d as mail title.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>27th April, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Somotex Nigeria Limited \u2013 Our client, Montana Industries Nigeria Limited, is a well-managed chemical distribution company and a major player in the procurement, distribution and marketing of construction chemicals.
