Its registered trade mark\u00a0 Infinity Homes is a reflection of the strong desire of the Bank to create endless opportunities for shelter for every category of Nigerians.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position of:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Head Internal Control<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Abuja<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build a strong compliance environment to ensure zero level of policy, procedures and regulatory infractions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure prompt and effective call over of branch transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Build strong awareness in branch staff on all policy and procedures issues; zero tolerance for open GL Items, unreviewed transactions and income leakages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Call over of Transactions as per the approved threshold.<\/li>\n<li>Review of expense and cash advances and ensure conformity with laid down policies.<\/li>\n<li>Review of system exception message report.<\/li>\n<li>Review of GL\/P&amp;L Movement Report.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct Seriality checks \/test on Managers Cheque\/Bank draft in the branches under coverage.<\/li>\n<li>Review of Suspense\/Transit\/Proxy Accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out security sweep at least once in a month.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure complete and accurate recognition of all fees and charges on every relevant account.<\/li>\n<li>Review of Fixed Asset Register.<\/li>\n<li>Review KYC compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out spot checks and review of activities in the branches under coverage.<\/li>\n<li>Cash count and vault administration, funds transfer, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Measures<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Control Adequacy rating from Internal Audit.<\/li>\n<li>Promptness and effectiveness of call over of transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Integrity of the GL accounts in all Business offices.<\/li>\n<li>Promptness, Accuracy and Validity of Exception Reporting\/Rendition of all Control Activity Reports.<\/li>\n<li>Effectiveness at follow up to ensure that Internal Audit recommendations are implemented.<\/li>\n<li>Quantum of undetected regulatory\/statutory infractions from External Auditor and Regulators reports.<\/li>\n<li>Quality and Timeliness of losses and loss events reporting in processing areas<\/li>\n<li>Undetected Income leakage\/P&amp;L reversal arising from undetected processing errors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A first Degree or its equivalent in Accounting or Audit.<\/li>\n<li>Professional qualification in Accountancy or Audit would be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 8 years post graduate cognate experience in any reputable financial institution with at least 4 years at managerial position of a reputable financial institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Competencies<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Internal relationship<\/li>\n<li>The need to maintain a wide network with key stakeholders in the Bank.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Competencies<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Report writing\/Investigation skill<\/li>\n<li>Personal Competencies:<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to details.<\/li>\n<li>Banking operations experience<\/li>\n<li>Interpretation of ML (P) Act 2004 &amp; CBN KYC Manual 2003.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should send their Applications and CV\u2019s to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@infinitytrustmortgagebank.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>recruitment@infinitytrustmortgagebank.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>4th May, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank PLC (ITMB) was licensed in 2002 and started business operations in 2003, precisely, 15 years ago.
