EMTS acquired a Unified Access Service License from the Nigerian Communications Commission in 2007. The License enables EMTS to provide Fixed Telephony (wired or wireless), Digital Mobile Services, International Gateway Services and National\/Regional Long Distance Services in addition to spectrum assignments in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands.<\/p>\n<p>We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Specialist, Public Relations\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong>: Lagos, NG<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in coordinating initiatives and events that provide an avenue for projecting EMTS\u2019s corporate image\/brand values to the public.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Principal Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in ensuring the timely implementation of approved public relations plans and programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with approved public relations agency and ensure compliance with agreed service levels.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an up-to-date record of all external communications.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in gathering information on competitor activity in relation to media\/public relations.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with relevant unit\/team\/function in carrying out all relevant public relations activities.<\/li>\n<li>Attend team\/divisional\/departmental meetings as required.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare\/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Head, Environmental Compliance &amp; Public Relations.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head, environmental compliance &amp; Public Relations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain relationships with key media agencies and assist in ensuring adequate media coverage for EMTS\u2019s corporate events\/sponsorship activities in liaison with the Events &amp; Sponsorship function and other relevant departments.<\/li>\n<li>Develop preliminary drafts of public relations briefs and presentation templates.<\/li>\n<li>Provide adequate support to the Manager, Public Relations in the preparation of draft articles, conference papers, speeches, press briefings and other related external communications.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and analyse the extent of public understanding and acceptance of EMTS&#8217; products and services and suggest awareness initiatives to the Manager, Public Relations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Requirements\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience, Skills &amp; Competencies<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Three (3) to five (5) years relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Public Relations Management<\/li>\n<li>Customer Focus<\/li>\n<li>Passion for Excellence<\/li>\n<li>Integrity<\/li>\n<li>Empowering people<\/li>\n<li>Growing people<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork<\/li>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<li>Results Orientation<\/li>\n<li>Personal Effectiveness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates should:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/careers.9mobile.com.ng\/OA_HTML\/OA.jsp?page=\/oracle\/apps\/irc\/candidateSelfService\/webui\/VisVacDispPG&amp;OAHP=IRC_EXT_SITE_VISITOR_APPL&amp;OASF=IRC_VIS_VAC_DISPLAY&amp;akRegionApplicationId=821&amp;transactionid=1075697918&amp;retainAM=N&amp;addBreadCrumb=RP&amp;p_svid=3218&amp;p_spid=61715&amp;oapc=5&amp;oas=1G8YOacc6sW3C-M1_y_34Q..\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to apply<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>9mobile, is a Nigerian private limited liability company.
